Great riding through beautiful scenery
We had a fantastic trip cycling down the coast from Porto. The rides were easy and mostly flat. Most of the cycling is on designated bike paths and takes you through beautiful and varied scenery. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable in great locations. Thanks Top Bike Tours.

Top Flight performance from TopBikeTours Portugal
After organizing and leading bike tours in European countries for over forty years we decided it was time to retire with a bike tour, and we picked Portugal for our retirement celebration. After researching several companies, we decided to go with the locals and we are very happy that we did. The entire experience with TOP Bike Tours Portugal on the Self Guided Porto to Lisbon Tour was very special including all the following: Bikes - We wanted e-bikes and after discussing our preferences, Sergio, the owner, offered to get us new e-gravel bikes which allowed us to ride on the mostly paved route as well as the portions on dirt paths. Our interactions gave me a new respect for the care being taken by the owner to insure that we would enjoy our tour as well as his concern for safety. The bikes fit perfectly and we really enjoyed riding new Orbea e-bikes. Hotels - We chose the upgraded hotels package and they could not have been better. They were all 4 and 5 star rated and well located, with accommodations for bikes. We were delighted with special welcome packages, such as chocolate covered strawberries with champagne in our room and a great massage at another stop. When we arrived at each hotel we were greeted by friendly staff members who perked up when we told them we were with TOP Bike Tours Portugal. Our luggage was usually waiting for us. Restaurants - We were on our own for dinners, but not really. The route notes, available in printed and digital format, included excellent nearby restaurant suggestions. These same notes included points of interest along the route, even local coffee stops or gelato sources. A bike specific computer device using the Ride with GPS app kept us on track. Much of the riding was on dedicated bike two-way bike paths which run along state and local roads. From the outset we found Sergio and his super staff to be extremely responsive, accommodating and committed to seeing that their guests' expectations were being met! The answer to any question was just a phone call or text away. They are the best and also run walking tours. Check out their website!!

Why this scores 57

Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $2569 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 312 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 312-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 312-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Porto to Lisbon Bike Tour Scenic Atlantic Coast Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
