Porto from a runners view
Wow! What an experience and what a great way to see the city! Had an amazing morning with Sergio and he was so insightful on the city! Allowed a great pace and he tailored the run to your needs!

Amazing Porto running tour
We wanted to go for a run and found out about Sergio’s running tours. I wish we had found it earlier because we got to go all around Porto, discover all its beautiful places and enjoy so many different views. It would have been great to do it on the first day, so that we could get a grasp on how to get around and all the different neighborhoods. Sergio is a great guide, we really loved the way he passionately explained all the history of Porto. If you enjoy a morning run and are visiting Porto, you shouldn’t miss out!!

Great experience! Perfect timing! Highly recommend!
On my last day in Porto I decided to do this tour and I contacted them via whatsapp: the booking procedure was quick and easy! They also provided all the covid-19 related protocols and information, which made me feel safer. The tour is individual, so the spots are really limited. I guess I was lucky to find an available tour with such a short notice, but I would advice to book in advance , so that you can be sure to do the tour on the day you prefer. The running experience was really great! We started from Aliados and ran through the Luis I bridge right at the time of the sunrise, so the view was amazing! Perfect timing! Since the tour is individual, you can run at the pace you prefer and stop for pictures whenever you want! Also, while running, there is a very interesting explanation of the history of Porto, plus answers to any question you may have about the city! At the end, we ran 8 km in 2 hours, which was the right pace for me! (you can ran faster if you want/can) I really recommend this experience! And if you still have doubt, you can contact them, they are super helpful!
Response from the operator: We feel honored that you've trusted us with your last few hours of your visit to Porto, also really happy that it met your expectations. Thank you for taking some of your precious time to review and help others experience Porto in the future in this active way!

Tourism and jogging = Paradise
The best option to get to know the port and run at the same time. Even being Portuguese and knowing something of Porto, taking this tour was the best decision to make my morning jogging perfect. Running, visiting secret places in Porto and learning more about its history was perfect
Response from the operator: Muito Obrigado Pedro, pelo tempo que dispensou a partilhar a sua opinião e por ter aceitado o desafio de conhecer um pouco melhor a Invicta e a sua História, apesar de a visitar regularmente. Votos de bons treinos!

Enjoyable and Educational Running Tour
I am training for a half marathon and was worried when I realized that my (scheduled) longest training run coincided with my vacation to Portugal. Despite my best intentions, I am just not disciplined enough to run more than a few miles on my own while on vacation, which is where Porto Running Tours and Sergio came to the rescue. I found Porto Running Tours on TripAdvisor and reserved a 17 km custom running tour a couple of weeks before my trip. Sergio was accommodating (fulfilled my request for a flat route and to take a walking break on the one hilly section), friendly, and knowledgeable (I learned interesting facts about Porto’s buildings and Portugal’s history). Sergio has excellent English and is passionate about running and his running tours. Not only did I complete my long training run feeling strong (Sergio’s pacing helped), but I also had an opportunity to see a part of Porto that I would not have otherwise visited. This was my first running tour, but it will definitely not be my last.
Response from the operator: We truly appreciate your kind words. Thank you so much for sharing your impression about your long run in Porto. Hope your next races and running tours will also provide you nice memories, those are both great ways to get a good feel for a new city!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Porto Sunrise Running Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Porto Sunrise Running Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Porto Sunrise Running Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Porto Sunrise Running Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Porto Sunrise Running Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Porto Sunrise Running Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Porto Sunrise Running Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Porto Sunrise Running Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
