    Not Happy Travelers

Very POOR experience. Our guide was struggling with the English language. The tour was very frustrating for our party of four. Her knowledge was very limited and it was very difficult to understand her as she was struggling to explain things to us in English. I tried to sign up for another Jewish tour with Viator, but supposedly there was no room. The tour guide with that tour came with great reviews. The four of us travel a lot all over the world with various companies and have never had a negative experience like this.. feeling. Like we learned very little. Besides being hard to understand her, she would answer questions with those in the front of the group, and we were unable to hear what she was saying, because she was speaking forward and did not turn around to share with the rest of the group. Not HappyShe had mentioned at the beginning of the tour that her English was not very good. We all felt this tour was dumped on her, she wasn’t even from this immediate area. We have booked Viator in the past, but this tour was farmed out to another company and the experience was not positive. I look forward to hearing from you with your response. Not happy.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your experience with this tour fell so far below the standards you expected—and the standards we hold ourselves to. Your review stands out to us precisely because it contrasts so sharply with the overwhelmingly positive feedback we typically receive for this experience, just 5 stars reviews, and we take it very seriously. We will speak directly with the guide to understand what happened. We also invite you to join us again on this same tour in the future, so we can provide you with the exceptional experience you deserve. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We hope to welcome you back and restore your confidence in Porto Craft tours. Best Regards María Sánchez

    Porto Jewish history

Maria was amazing. Very intelligent and well studied. We visited many landmarks and small symbols that we would have never noticed. She also explained the history in detail to the 11th century. She was also very accommodating and flexible on our tour. I highly recommend her.

Response from the operator: Hi Steve! Thank you so much for your amazing words. It was a trully pleasure to meet you and share a little bit of our history with you. I wish you the best! Regards. María Sánchez

Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.

How much does Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group cost?

    +

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.

Is Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Porto Jewish Heritage Walking Tour Small group start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Porto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Porto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
