Incredible Walking Tour of Porto with Luis
Luis was an absolutely phenomenal walking tour guide in Porto. Luis has a fantastic knowledge of history and was amazing from start to finish with his recommendations and tailoring the experience for us. We couldn’t recommend Luis enough as he was very professional with a great sense of humour.

Perfect Introduction to Porto
I will preface by saying that we travel frequently, and prefer to take private tours. So naturally, we usually begin our trips with a walking tour of the city on our 2nd day, (after getting caught up on sleep the first day), to get our bearings and recommendations on where to go, and where to eat!! We did the 1/2 day walking tour of Porto with Ricardo, who is fantastic!! He doesn't go too fast (as the city is filled with hills) and he makes it a downhill walk as much as possible. He is so polite and on time and courteous. We also did 2 other trips with him and I highly recommend asking for Ricardo if you do any tours from Porto!! It is a beautiful city, and small enough to understand fairly quickly. We also went to Aviero with Ricardo...We really loved our lunch there where he joined us and ordered food for us, at a local restaurant that we never could have managed, or even found, on our own. The waiter spoke almost no English there, but the food was literally THE BEST that we had on the trip!!! It was a bbq/grill location that was just amazing. It was wonderful to eat where the locals eat (it was packed, so we knew it was going to be great), and the prices were so affordable it was almost unbelievable, like we had stepped back in time. He also recommended several places for our meals while in Porto!! Please don't hesitate to book through Wonders Tours!! We have 2 more Wonders Tours to take before our vacation ends, and we are already excited!!
