6 Bridge boat tour- can be enjoyed in wet weather too!!
Where can I start- I think with the weather… The forecast was just not good- rain and rain and more rain!! I emailed the company through Viator about 7am the morning of our experience, and they were extremely helpful emailing back within the hour, saying they were set up well for rainy conditions but it was my choice if we still wanted to go ahead, move or cancel the experience. We chose to go ahead and I’m so grateful we did! There were 8 of us 4 adults and 4 children, we were the only ones on the boat, which had a lovely inside lounge area with windows to see out, carpets, table, a loo- everything you could need for the poor outside conditions. We did get some dry spells and the guys got us straight outside and up on the top deck with blankets and the most gorgeous veiw. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and full of local information about places to eat and visit when we later went to Porto! We were in and out a few times due to the weather, on our inside time we were given green wine and white port to try (adults only) the kids were given water and juice. It was a brilliant way to spend 2 hours, the 2 guys who took us were so fun and friendly and a great time was had by young and old! Would definitely recommend and don’t let bad weather put you off!

A great trip
I was reluctant to book a "tourist" event but thought my mother in law would enjoy. It was GREAT! Touristry- absolutely. So what. It was a beautiful day and it was awesome seeing Proto, Gaia, and the bridges from the river. The weather was perfect that day. The staff of Leçaodouro were great. The were very friendly, informative about the bridges and the surrounding areas of the Douro. Mota was great. The wine was decent. . There were a total of 7 passengers on the boat. I guess the only negative would be is how interactive you want to be with strangers. There are 3 areas on the boat: the bow (it was beautiful and I loved sitting up there), seats in the stern, and then seats on the bridge. Different views and experiences. All in all a great trip that I would do again.

A fantastic trip
Great trip and the host was extremely welcoming. All and all we had a great time. This was my second trip with the same crew, and I will be back next year :). The trip is 2 hours, they leave on time and ride is fabulous. Porto and “Portistas” are great ❤️

Really Enjoyable
We really enjoyed this boat trip. There were only 5 people altogether so myself and my husband were able to sit downstairs on our own and enjoy the views and the port! Our guide was great and he gave us lots of information as we made our way down the Duoro. Highly recommend this tour!

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 562 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option?
+
Around 197 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, local wine with Sunset Option start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
