    About this experience

Our cooking classes are a unique experiences. We use healthy raw materials, produced mainly by farmers, breeders and artisans of taste who self-identify with our values. We do not only teach how to cook, but also how to understand the products you use in recipes. The food is more than nutrition: it is culture, history, passion. We tell you all this in an informal and friendly way. And then, of course, we start to knead and to get our hands dirty.

    Last minute cancellation

This was a birthday gift for my dad and they cancelled 4 hours before the start of the class saying they hadn't filled enough spots. They contacted us asking if we wanted to rebook for another time but then never replied again. Sounds like a fun class but don't plan your day around it.

Response from the operator: We apologize for the disappointment on your dad's birthday. To set the record straight, a last-minute cancellation by another party unexpectedly brought the class below our required minimum capacity, as noted in our Viator guidelines. Our team reached out to offer rebooking options, but understand the alternative dates did not align with your availability. Regards, Slow Lake Como Team

    Pizza making class in Como

Very fun class; enthusiastic local instructors in a Como pizzeria. We learned to make delicious pizza with simple fresh local ingredients. Local wine was served. Informative and fun for everyone, whether you love to cook or just to want to soak up local Italian culture.

    Pizza Making With Beatrice

The only critical comment I can offer is the location and directions provided in the confirmation email were to a nondescript location in Como and did not call out the unit number for the lesson. But we found Beatrice and she was wonderfully friendly and engaging. We've made pizza for years but this lesson has helped us take our pizza to the next level. My wife and I made 4 individual pizzas that were delicious, and Beatrice provided beer for us to have when we consumed our creations. As good as the lesson and pizza were, the conversation and getting to know Beatrice was one of the highlights of our journey to Como. Oh, the bonus of trying Beatrice's homemade amaretto, chocolate chip gelato was amazing. Highly recommend.

    Pizza Making Experience

What an amazing experience!!!! David from Slow Lake Como met us at Piazza Volta and he drove the four of us to a nearby village 10 minutes away to Pio’s house where we were treated like family! Valentina was our chef and we baked bread with her and then we each make our own pizza in a wood fired pizza oven in their kitchen. We drank wine, ate delicious appetizers and lots of amazing pizza. It was truly an excellent experience my friends and I will not ever forget! It was the best day of our trip to Italy! Enjoy!

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for the review Mary, Sara

Pizza Training Experience. Como Area: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.

How much does Pizza Training Experience. Como Area cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pizza Training Experience. Como Area take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.

Is Pizza Training Experience. Como Area worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pizza Training Experience. Como Area?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pizza Training Experience. Como Area suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pizza Training Experience. Como Area?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pizza Training Experience. Como Area start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lake Como?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lake Como?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lake Como?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
