A lovely way to spend a few hours!
Shared this experience with our kids (14 & 18) but such was the experience of Franc and Paulo, this really is suitable for all ages. On arrival we were greeted by Franc and Paulo work together brilliantly. We knew immediately that this was going to be a great experience and we were provided drinks whilst things were setup. Onto to pizza and we were taken through the steps of creating dough from scratch before making our own pizzas for lunch. Throughout the experience Franc and Paulo were the most wonderful hosts showing both patience and good humour (and keeping the drinks topped) up. There were 11 people participating in our class from England, Canada, Switzerland and USA, we can honestly say that everyone was buzzing and had a great time.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic and detailed review! We're delighted that you and your children enjoyed the pizza-making experience with Franc and Paulo. It's wonderful to hear that their teamwork, patience, and good humour created such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. We're also happy that the international group added to the fun and that everyone had such a great time making their own pizzas!

Authentic Italian pizza making
I booked this experience with my wife, its not something I would have went for, however, having done this now I highly recommend this. Francesco was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about this lesson. He explained each step and why he does that way, him and his team also took photos throughout which they sent across via WhatsApp afterwards. They also have sent across the recipes so we can re-create this at home. Francesco and his assistant were also very generous with their time afterwards, sitting down and talking with us, making us feel relaxed and not just rushed out the door at the end of the lesson. Keep up the great work, we have already suggested to our friends who are coming out next month to book with you.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic and detailed review! We're delighted that you and your wife enjoyed the pizza-making class and that Francesco's passion, knowledge, and friendly approach made such a great impression. It's wonderful to hear that you appreciated the photos, recipes, and the relaxed time spent chatting together after the class. Most of all, we're thrilled that you would recommend the experience to your friends!

Great pizza making experience with wonderful hosts
This was a lovely pizza making experience in a perfect setting. The instructors, Francesco and Samuele, were so kind and very engaging. It's clear they have a passion for pizza and for bringing people together for an incredible experience. Not only was the pizza incredible but they even went above and beyond to make the experience special for my daughter, as our visit was to celebrate her 10th birthday. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted that you and your family enjoyed the pizza-making experience with Francesco and Samuele. It's especially lovely to hear that they helped make your daughter's 10th birthday celebration extra special. We hope you all left with great memories—and perhaps a new love for making pizza!

Really fun experience
Did this as a large family from age 22-88, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a lot of fun, ate lots of food and had plenty to drink, all included in the price. The chef & assistant were patient and helped us to create amazing pizzas. Would recommend this to anyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted that your whole family, from 22 to 88, had such a fun and memorable experience together. It's fantastic to hear that everyone enjoyed making their own pizzas, sharing delicious food and drinks, and learning from our patient and passionate team. Creating an experience that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to Como for another delicious family adventure!

Why this scores 81
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.
How much does Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como cost?
+
Prices start at $101 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.
Is Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 71 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Premium Pizza Making Class at a Pizzeria in Como start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Como?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Como?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Como?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
