Amazing private tour with the very knowledgable guide Hong
We booked a private cycling and cooking tour for my boyfriend's birthday weekend in Siem Reap and we got an amazing guide, Hong, who took us to the most local places around the countryside of Siem Reap. We cycled to many different spots and we couldn't have asked for better. A few stops included: • A family working their garden and ready to sell at the market • The most authentic and incredible market we've ever been to (and you can try delicious fragrant lemongrass fried ants snacks) • The home of an authentic rice wine maker + sampling • Stopping on the side of the road to have a fresh sugar cane juice at someone's home • A mushroom growing farm • And our last stop, the cooking class where the dishes were to die for We can't thank Hong enough for being such an incredible and incredibly knowledgable tour guide. I would highly recommend this company and we will be back trying the other tours when we are back in Siem Reap.
Response from the operator: Dear Melanie, Greeting from Siem Reaper! Thank you for your lovely comment. On behalf of Siem Reaper team would like to say '' Happy Birthday '' to your boyfriend and wish him all the best. We will tell Hong about your thought and to bring her a big smile. On the other hand, we were very lucky to hosting you on our cycling experience and we look forward to guide you again on other tour with our pleasure :) Best wishes, Sothea - Operation Team

A wonderful experience with locals
Beginning interactions with Sreyleak through email to gather pickup information was very kind and an easy experience. For the tour I had Ms. Leat Ron as a guild. Lovely, great english and full of so much information. She was eager to share information in a upbeat and charming way. This tour is super great for anyone looking to get out of the major attractions, to take a moment away from the tourist and learn with locals. We visited a couple farms, vegetables and herbs, lotus, mushrooms, and rice wine. There was a stop at a local market, bustling with chatter and local ingredients. At the end of the tour, a the lovely cooking class ! The cook was gracious and patient. He walked me through each ingredient and step to make two dishes and one dessert. A lot of fun to make with him, also great to smell and taste the local cuisine. Ms. Leat Ron had a great way of guiding through all the small dirt paths and staying at a steady pace. Thank you for one of the best day's I've had in Siem Reap ! A truly lovely experience ! :)
Response from the operator: Dear Cora, Greeting from Siem Reaper! Thank you for your lovely comment. We really appreciated for being such a wonderful guest and we were very lucky to hosting you. Ron will make a word '' WOW '' after hearing this from you and we will share to her. Next time when you're here, you should try other activities and we look forward to hosting you again soon. Best wishes, Sothea - Operation Team

This is unforgettable memeries and experiences!!
This was our first experience to stay in Siem Reap Province. Suddenly after we arrived at the hotel we checked the cycling activity on the website. So this company had appeared. We had picked up the tour (Siem Reap Cycling and Culinary Adventure) with tour guide Mr. Gorge. He is a Guinness guide! Every places that we stop, we always laugh and really enjoy with the views on the way. This company has local experts, but mostly young people. They picked up the person who was passionated on job and enjoy. But they also have a brilliant experience to share to us! Highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Dear Sir/Madam, Greeting from Siem Reaper team! Thank you for your comment. We will tell Mr. Gorge about your thought to bring him a big smile. It was our pleasure to guide you and we appreciated to hear that you did enjoy the tour. On the other hand, hope you will visit us again in your next visit in Siem Reap. Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phnom Penh.
How much does Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phnom Penh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phnom Penh is not rushed.
Is Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phnom Penh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phnom Penh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phnom Penh and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Phnom Penh Silk Island Cycling and Culinary Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phnom Penh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phnom Penh?
+
On Outty we rank every Phnom Penh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Tuol Sleng S21 and Choeung Ek Killing Field Tour, The Killing Field and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) Tour, Killing field and Toul Sleng genocide museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phnom Penh?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phnom Penh?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
