Easy booking, Accommodating and Nice Peking Duck !!!

- Fast booking and superb service! On 12 June, I booked this as our teambuilding activity only 2 days in advance. Our tour guide, Sunny was friendly and responded to all my queries quickly. I was able to make payment the same day via Paypal which accepts foreign credit cards. - Accommodating to special requests! I made a special request for Sunny to order a birthday cake and surprise my boss during the Peking Duck Dinner. The restaurant also played a happy birthday song during the surprise. - Nice Peking Duck! Good brand with multiple outlets. The duck was good, it comes with a few other dishes that we could order as well as soft drinks and a beer each. The only thing is that the environment is a little noisy as the restaurant did not have a private room. - Recommended to start the tour early. After the dinner and the birthday cake, Sunny brought us to the Bund and took some photos for us. It was a little sad that we could only start the tour late at 7PM, ate dinner until close to 9PM, hence missing out on the lights and walking around Old Town area/ Yu Garden Bazaar. She then brought us to an outdoor rooftop bar at our request after making several calls to check on the seat vacancies. But in all, a very nice evening. Thank you, Sunny for accommodating to our requests, late start tour and handling all our last-minute request. Happy to engage you and hope that we could work again in future! :)

Fantastic food and Spectacular Views

Had an absolute wonderful time with tour guide Sunny! The food was wonderful. The Peking duck was delicious with sides of dumplings, greens and hot soup to warm the bones. The cruise was amazing with the best view at the bow of the boat viewing this wonderful show of lights! Just AMAZING!!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This memorable tour offers a nice...

This memorable tour offers a nice snapshot Shanghai. Our excellent tour guide, Lily, told great stories explaining each area of the tour, as well as Shanghai in general.

An authentic Chinese feast featuring Peking Duck was the first stop on our tour. During dinner, we were able to order several delectable dishes in addition to the main Peking Duck course. Lily guided us in our course selections after we told her our food preferences.

Next, we enjoyed a stroll along the Bund that rewarded us with breathtaking views of skyscrapers across the Huangpu River, and floodlit colonial buildings along Zhongshan East 1st Road. The skyscrapers seemed to be in competition with each other as to which had the best lightshow, and the colonial buildings reminded me of Europe.

After that, we visited the Yu Garden Bazaar. The architecture of the buildings was representative of Old Shanghai. It's a good place for souvenier shopping and grabbing a quick bite to eat. We were still full from our feast, but we were able to sample some local snacks.

I highly recommend this enjoyable tour.

Review of Feifei

Feifie was excellent on this customized tour, showing the Bund and various other sights. Then at our request she substituted a Chinese restaurant for a Peking duck restaurant. This restaurant had the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Feifei was very knowledgeable, gave us great insights on the area. She also sent us great pictures she took during our tour. The driver was also excellent. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Shanghai.

Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Shanghai.

How much does Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights cost?

+

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Shanghai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Shanghai is not rushed.

Is Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Shanghai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Shanghai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Shanghai and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Peking Duck Dining Experience with Amazing Shanghai Night Lights start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Shanghai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Shanghai?

+

On Outty we rank every Shanghai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Shanghai Full Day City Tour with Old and New Highlights, Suzhou Private Day Trip from Shanghai with Bullet Train Option, 4-Hour Flexible Private Shanghai City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Shanghai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Shanghai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
