A Fun and Memorable Day Exploring Nova Scotia
We had a great experience on our Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg tour! Sarah was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day enjoyable. The drive felt very safe and comfortable, and there were plenty of interesting and fun things to see along the way. Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg were both beautiful, and the BernArt Maze was a great addition to the trip and something a little different that we really enjoyed. The tour was a great way to experience the area without having to worry about driving or planning everything ourselves. We really enjoyed our day and would definitely recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Vanessa! We’re so glad you had such a great day exploring with Sarah. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed all the stops, especially the BernArt Maze! Thank you for joining us and for recommending the tour — we really appreciate it!

Best tour from Halifax
I am so happy I took the tour. Mike knows the areas so well and had tidbits of information on each place that added to the enjoyment. He was a safe driver and both Mike and Dre were very considerate. As a lone female I felt taken care of. Thanks so much!
Response from the operator: Thank you, Kim! We’re so glad you enjoyed your day with Mike and Dre. We have many solo travellers join our tours, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and well taken care of is very important to us. Thanks again for joining us! 😊

A Must Do Tour
Me and my friend’s expirence on this tour was phenomenal! We were a little bit out of their pickup zone but they accommodated us and picked us up at our hotel anyways! The vehicle we were in was nice and spacious. I am disabled as well and walk with a walker sometimes, this was no problem for them at all! The car had lots of space in the trunk for my walker and our lovely tour guide, Alex, took my walker out for me every time we made a stop. Alex was a fantastic tour guide giving us lots of facts and history about the sights we were seeing. He would stop the car for us if we wanted to see something specific or wanted to take a picture. He was a very nice young man and made sure to keep the conversation going for both parties in the van. He would answer any questions we had as well. I would 100% recommend taking this tour! The only thing we wished was that we could stay in each spot longer but it’s understandable considering the travel time. It just gives us an idea of what where we’d like to come back to when we visit again!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Amanda! We’re so glad you both had such a great day with us. Alex will really appreciate your kind words — we’re very lucky to have him on our team! It’s wonderful to hear that he made sure you were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day. We hope you get a chance to come back and spend even more time at some of your favourite stops! 😊

Unhappy
The car is too small for people who have long legs for sitting in back. . I did not like to be made an example for other tourist. Because of our experience. 10% back is like an insult. The driver I did fell he was knowledgeable . Just was very uncomfortable. In car and it also makes a difference who the other travellers our because ours was very inconsiderate and rude which does not help our experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the seating arrangement affected your experience. Our tours operate in the minivans shown and described in our listing. If a guest has mobility, hearing, or other accessibility needs, we encourage them to contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate them. Otherwise, guests should expect to sit in any available seat upon pickup. As your concerns were not brought directly to our guide's attention during the tour, there unfortunately wasn't an opportunity to address them at the time. When we received your phone call after the tour regarding your discomfort with sitting in the back seat, we took the time to carefully listen to your concerns, discuss them with you, and offer our sincere apologies. We also provided a 10% goodwill refund. During our phone conversation, you shared that your concerns related to the seating arrangement and your experience with the other guests on the tour, while also letting us know that you were otherwise very happy with the guide and the tour locations. We're sorry to see that, despite our efforts to address your concerns following the tour, you were still not satisfied with the outcome. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Halifax.
How much does Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $177 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Halifax usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Halifax is not rushed.
Is Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Halifax, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Halifax can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Halifax and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg & 2 Hidden Gems – Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Halifax within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Halifax?
+
On Outty we rank every Halifax experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wine and Lunch Escape, Small Group Tour - Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Annapolis Valley, Half-Day Historical Tour of Halifax. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Halifax?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Halifax?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
