This small tour of maximum 5 people, allows travelers to understand the basics, of Hinduism and Buddhism as well as the scenario of these religions in Nepal and the religious harmony among the peoples and fusion of the cuisine too. In Pashupatinath our experienced guide will explain the last rites of Hindus along with 16 Samskaras while in Boudhanath travelers will be familiar with Buddhism and the teachings of lord buddha.

Pashupatinath Temple
Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple of Kathmandu Valley and important among the Hindu devotee around the globe. Only Hindus are allowed inside the main temple, so we pass by towards Aryaghat (crematoria) situated on the bank of Bagmati River. We will go through many shops selling religious items to pilgrims, telling names and importance of them in Hinduism.

Aryaghat, The Crematoria is famous among the tourists as they can see how the last rites of Hindu people are done. Here we will talk about Shodasha Samskaras (16 rites of passage in Hindus life) The concept of Trinity God and basics of Hinduisms, along with stories like how Lord Ganesha got the elephant Head.

Pashupatinath Temple & Boudha Stupa with the best guide ever
A very moving and memorable visit to Pashupatinath Temple & Boudha Stupa a few days after the floods and landslides in Rasuwa. The Nepali people are amazing. Both places are very interesting, and with such a knowledgeable guide even more so. It´s easy to book directly on the Amazing Kathmandu website. Communication was uncomplicated, too. The company has good values.

Amazing Tour of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath

Half Day tour in Kathmandu
I had a wonderful experience touring Kathmandu with Frannkey, who guided me for around six hours across three remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Despite the limited time, he planned the itinerary thoughtfully, ensuring that I could fully appreciate each location without feeling rushed. Besides, I love his clear and simple explanations of the history and cultural significance of each place. He made complex stories easy to understand, which greatly enhanced my appreciation of the sites. An Outstanding Guide with Heart and Deep Knowledge
We spent five wonderful hours with our guide Santosh yesterday. With his great knowledge and his open, warm-hearted personality, he guided us throughout the day. Santosh knows many fascinating stories about Hinduism and Buddhism and explains landmarks and religious rituals in a clear and engaging way. You can truly feel that he loves his job as a guide, and this shows in the high quality of his work. Santosh is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many details about the history and spirituality of each site.
