Bucket list
Morghan was friendly, professional, had great jokes. Walked us through the ride, what to expect, and answered questions. We even had a “Karen” freaking out about our landing. He handled it with a smile and class. We all celebrated with mimosas after. 10/10 would definitely fly with him again
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so glad you had such a great experience with Morghan. It's wonderful to hear he kept everyone informed, entertained, and handled every situation with professionalism, humor, and grace. We'll be sure to share your kind words with him. We're thrilled you enjoyed celebrating with a mimosa afterward, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We look forward to flying with you again soon!

A little pricey, but well worth the experience.
Great experience. The pilot was very skillful. We ended up going about 90 minutes as there was about zero wind, and took a while to hit a landing spot. They had both alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks provided after the ride. I saw a video suggestion to wear a hat because of the heat from the burners. This turned out to be a great tip. My wife was scared to death to go, but was fine once we got going. Not scary at all.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the extended flight, smooth landing, and the post-ride toast. It’s great to know your wife felt comfortable once in the air — hot air ballooning truly is peaceful and not as scary as it may seem. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to flying with you again in the future!

A breathtaking experience worth every penny. Unforgettable!
This adventure was great. Our pilot, Jacob Little, is a pro and was in complete control. I had no worries or fears, the ride was smooth, and the views are breathtaking. I was amazed how quiet it was soaring over the town below, and Jacob mentioned that is one of the more appealing aspects of ballooning. I was able to take many photos and videos. There was plenty of room in the basket. I strongly recommend taking a balloon ride, you will never forget it.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear you had such a smooth, worry-free experience with Jacob at the helm. His expertise and calm control truly make for a relaxing flight, and we couldn’t agree more about the peaceful quiet of ballooning—it’s part of the magic. We’re happy you had plenty of room to capture photos and videos to remember the breathtaking views. Thank you for the strong recommendation, and we hope to see you in the skies again soon!

Bucket list check off worth it!
The pilot was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience feel extra special, offering interesting tidbits about the area while ensuring that we felt comfortable at all times. While this type of experience isn’t something you do every day, the views and the serenity were completely worth the cost. It’s a one-of-a-kind way to see The mountains in Park City Utah for our 26th anniversary
Response from the operator: Thank you for spending your 26th anniversary with us! We’re so glad to hear your pilot made the experience feel special with both his knowledge and his care for your comfort. The mountains in Park City are truly breathtaking from above, and it’s wonderful to know you found the views and serenity worth it. We’re honored to have been part of such a meaningful celebration and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable flight.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Park City.
How much does Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride cost?
+
Prices start at $325 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Park City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Park City is not rushed.
Is Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Park City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Park City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Park City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Park City Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Park City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Park City?
+
Park City sells lift-served skiing and snowboarding in winter, then flips to mountain biking, hot air balloons, ziplines and Uinta hiking in summer, with Main Street history and distillery tours year round. Equipment and lift-ticket inclusions vary a lot. On Outty we rank every Park City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Urban Art and Historical E-Bike Tour in Park City, Guided Fly Fishing Experience in Park City, 2 Day Rental of Park City Premium Ski Package. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Park City?
+
December to March for snow, June to September for trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Park City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
