    Beautiful and scenic trail ride!

Rocky Mountain Outfitters is awesome! Jared was our tour guide and he kept everyone safe and sound and he was very knowledgeable! He explained every part of the ride and where we were along the trail. The ride was absolutely beautiful and the horses were awesome! The staff was great and very helpful when we checked in for our ride. Would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Outfitters! We had a great time! Thank you!

    Amazing lifelong dream come true

Amazing dream come true experience. Lifelong dream of riding horses in the Mountains and this was it. Beautiful scenery, Jill was a great guide. My daughter loved her horse Cracker Jack and has not stopped talking about him since.

Gentle ride in a state park

Friendly staff, well maintained animals make for a nice outing. A bit Dusty in the summer so dress accordingly.

    Best Weekend getaway

We had the absolute BEST experience with Rocky Mountain Outfitters! Coming from out of state, I was honestly a little hesitant booking something like this, but Aspen (the owner) completely put my mind at ease. She was so sweet, informative, and upfront about everything—including letting us know about their cash discount, which we really appreciated. I even called back to ask about their rain policy, and they were amazing about staying in touch to make sure we had perfect weather for our ride. That level of communication meant so much, especially planning from out of state. My husband and I booked a private horseback ride, and it was absolutely worth it. We were staying in Heber City, and the location was super close and easy to get to. When we arrived, Ella met us right outside, confirmed our reservation, and walked us through everything we needed to know. It had been 10–15 years since either of us had ridden a horse, so we were a little nervous—but Ella was incredibly patient and made sure we felt comfortable before we even started. Once we got going, she made the experience even more special by getting to know us and sharing a bit about herself. She’s newer to the area and was so personable. She even stopped along the way to take the most breathtaking photos for us—something we’ll cherish forever. This truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We will 100% be back, and we are really hoping Ella is still there because she was just absolutely fabulous!

1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Park City.

How much does 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure cost?

    +

Prices start at $107 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Park City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Park City is not rushed.

Is 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Park City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Park City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Park City and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 1 Hour Guided Horseback Riding Adventure start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Park City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Park City?

    +

Park City sells lift-served skiing and snowboarding in winter, then flips to mountain biking, hot air balloons, ziplines and Uinta hiking in summer, with Main Street history and distillery tours year round. Equipment and lift-ticket inclusions vary a lot. On Outty we rank every Park City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Urban Art and Historical E-Bike Tour in Park City, Guided Fly Fishing Experience in Park City, 2 Day Rental of Park City Premium Ski Package. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Park City?

    +

December to March for snow, June to September for trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Park City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
