    Fabulous twilight snowshoe

We had the most incredible experience with Mountain Vista Touring! We booked a twilight snowshoe to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. Our guides, Melissa and Alisha, were absolutely excellent — professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the evening with. They made everyone feel comfortable and kept the energy upbeat while also creating a peaceful, magical atmosphere out on the snow. The highlight was when they surprised us with sparklers and brownies to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful, personal touch that made the night feel truly special and unforgettable. The twilight setting was beautiful, the experience was perfectly paced, and the entire evening felt seamless. We can’t recommend Mountain Vista Touring — and especially Melissa and Alisha — highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Response from the operator: Awe! Thank you! We are so glad that you all enjoyed your time out there. We could tell your group really cares about each other which makes our job so easy. Thanks for choosing us and we hope to work with you again!!

Amazing experience. I would highly recommend it. It was my first time snowshoeing and Alisha made it very interesting.

It was my first time snowshoeing and Alisha made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommend this activity. Her dog came along and it made it so much more interesting and enjoyable.

Response from the operator: Thank you Elvira! We enjoyed our time with you. It's always a treat to watch someone experience snowshoeing for the first time. We hope you come back and see us again:)

The best way to end a ski trip

We did a hike with Mountain Vista last year, and loved it so much we did it again this year! We skied for four days and wanted to end our trip with more snow but less equipment. We did a 2 hour snowshoe hike along trails above the old town section of Park City and it was wonderful! Our guide took us through woods, up and down slopes with beautiful vistas and scenery. She was very attentive to our level of endurance. During the hike, she pointed out items of historical value and local interest. We got a great cardio workout on a beautiful day, learned a lot and enjoyed Penguin, her dog.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We're so glad you came back for round 2! Snowshoeing is always a fun way to spend a little extra time in the mountains before heading back to reality:) We hope to see you again next winter! Penguin says hello...

Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Park City.

How much does Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $169 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Park City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Park City is not rushed.

Is Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 44 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Park City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience?

    +

Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Park City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Park City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Park City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Park City?

    +

Park City sells lift-served skiing and snowboarding in winter, then flips to mountain biking, hot air balloons, ziplines and Uinta hiking in summer, with Main Street history and distillery tours year round. Equipment and lift-ticket inclusions vary a lot. On Outty we rank every Park City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Park City Snowshoe Excursions (9:30am/12:30pm start time), Guided Urban Art and Historical E-Bike Tour in Park City, Guided Fly Fishing Experience in Park City. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Park City?

    +

December to March for snow, June to September for trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Park City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience?

    +

Included: Snowshoes, adjustable poles, waterproof boot covers in some cases; and Snacks. Not included: Gratuity. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Where is the meeting point for Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience?

    +

Your guide will be in touch with you a day or two prior to your tour to determine the trail that is best for you! Once that is determined. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

What languages is Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

What happens to Privately Guided Snowshoe Experience if the weather is bad?

    +

It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Park City. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
