Great tour and highly...

Great tour and highly recommend it. It helps to knock off quite a few things to see when on a schedule

Perfect amount of walking

I thought it was a perfect amount of walking and making stops for coffee after we asked our guide while in Montmartre and lunch after The Louvre we had a sit down lunch. There was an older couple who did great. It's so helpful to have a guide as it's not only very informative but faster to go in and out and even show you a bathroom designated for groups.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Nancy! We’re so glad the tour offered the right balance of walking, sightseeing, and time to enjoy a coffee or lunch along the way. It’s wonderful to hear that having a guide made the experience both informative and efficient. We hope to welcome you back to Paris again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Kim! We’re delighted to hear that you found the tour both informative and enjoyable. Having the history and stories behind the sights really does add another layer to experiencing Paris, and we’re glad we could take the stress out of planning your day. Thank you for recommending us!

Cancelled on me

They cancelled because they did not have enough people sign up. After getting my refund I ended up choosing a cheaper Mona Lisa tour in the morning and decided to spend the afternoon at Disneyland Paris!! Turned out to be an amazing day!!

Response from the operator: Dear nicholes527, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that, despite the disappointment of the cancellation, you were able to make the most of your day and had an amazing time at Disneyland Paris! That said, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your Paris in a Day tour. We understand that changing plans at short notice can be frustrating, especially when you’ve arranged your day around a specific itinerary. While occasionally a tour may need to be cancelled when minimum participation isn’t reached, we recognize the impact this can have on our guests’ plans. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with the seamless experience you deserve on a future visit to Paris. Warm regards,

Highly disappointing ...

The night before the tour, we received a text that our group was being separated! Two of the five of us were 'upgraded' to a private tour because our original tour had too many people??? We had booked this months ahead! We did NOT want to be upgraded, we wanted to be kept together. Highly disappointing and it ruined the tour as we had to make special arrangements for transportation back to our vacation home. Never again Tour Guy!!! (As for the tour itself, you spend more time on the metro going from location to location than actually visiting the sites. Would do it differently had we known.)

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Estelle. We’re sorry to hear that the group adjustment affected your experience and caused inconvenience for your party. We understand how important it is to stay together when traveling, especially when plans are made in advance. In situations like this, please note that unless we are informed ahead of time that certain guests are traveling together, we are not always able to identify group connections in advance when operational adjustments are required. When changes are made close to departure, they are based on availability and logistical needs at that time. We do our best to accommodate all guests fairly, but we recognize that separating members of the same party can be disappointing, and we regret any disruption this caused to your plans. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with our team as we continue working to improve our guest experience.

Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks cost?

+

Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks take?

+

Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 332 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks?

+

Around 116 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paris in a Day: Louvre Tour + Guided Montmartre & City Walks start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
