Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris
As of April 15, 2019: The world known saddening event that occured at Notre-Dame may impact a bit this part of the tour. We'll still be able to see Notre-Dame from a distance and I hope that we'll have access around it in the near future. Until then and until we'll be able to fully visit this gem again (she'll be back like a phoenix), we wish our divine Notre-Dame a prompt recovery. Warm hugs to Our Lady!

Milan's Fabulous Custom Paris in a Day Tour (Phew!)
10 out of 5 stars! Milan's communication, figuring out what all he & I could do, the sights we saw, they all were amazing! Milan is kind, thoughful, good company, knows his facts, takes you to the best places! Milan picked me up at my hotel at 9 a.m. and dropped me off at 8:30 p.m. We saw the Tuileries, Notre Dame (outside only), Love Locks bridge, outside Musee D'Orsay, L'Obelisk, L'Arc de Triomphe, Medici Fountain, Luxembourg Gardens, Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the iconic Emily in Paris restaurant (that he surprised me with), lunch, then Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, that sculpture of the man coming thru the wall, Love Wall, Le Procope, many famous French artists and American Revolutionary statues and plaques. We took taxis, walked a ton, and rode the metro (felt so safe). We did the sunset view at the top of Galeries Lafayette, dinner nearby, a quick dash into the Palais Garnier because it had a show, a quick peek at Harry's New York Bar, Place de la Concorde, and back to the hotel. If you can find me on FB as Meredith Davis, I have about 6 different posts showing all that Milan & I did together. (I'll come back and add some pix; wanted to get this out there.)

Wonderful time
We took the Paris in a Day trip with Milan and it was perfect. He is very knowledgeable of the history of each site that we visited. He is a genuine person and fantastic guide. He even broke up a scam taking place at one of the sites. We had a very enjoyable time with Milan. He is very easy-going. We would highly recommend his services.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, the DD’s (deedees) for your lovely review and recommendation! It was a real pleasure spending the day exploring Paris with you. I'm glad you enjoyed learning about the history behind each site we visited. By the way! Thank you for telling me all about this big arched building. How do we call it again? Ah oui! Arc de Triomphe!!! Merci Drew ;-) Your easy-going nature made the day flow so naturally. It's always wonderful when a tour feels less like a script and more like friends discovering the city together. Thank you again for choosing to spend your Paris in a day with me! With warmest regards, Milan

Wonderful Private tour
My wife and I private toured with Milan for the day in Paris. He was a great guide. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and eager to make the day into whatever we wanted. We had seen some of the stops he had planned so he suggested some alternatives or let us pick something of interest to us. We suggested the cemetery where Jim Morrison was buried (Père Lachaise cemetery). Milan runs a separate tour of the cemetery so he was super knowledgeable about the property and had lots of interesting stories to tell us. The tour was great fun and Milan was super accommodating. Highly recommend. Best part of our trip !
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Paul for the wonderful review! I'm thrilled you enjoyed our visit to Père Lachaise – showing our respects and admiration to Jim Morrison (the Doors) and to others. It's always fun to share those stories with curious travelers and enthusiasm made the day memorable for me too. Wishing you both many more adventures ahead!

Why this scores 84
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paris in a Day - Private Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Paris in a Day - Private Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paris in a Day - Private Experience take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Paris in a Day - Private Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 120 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paris in a Day - Private Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Paris in a Day - Private Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paris in a Day - Private Experience?
+
Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paris in a Day - Private Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
