Nice idea; poor implementation

Bit disappointing. Staff were very nice, but the bus tour had a pretty limited audioguide that had to be listened to on your phone, and we were forced to sit and wait on the bus for 20 minutes to wait for some other group to join us. The boat tour also had almost no explanation--most of their audio guides were non-functional. Compares very poorly to the standard Hop on-Hop off bus experience or bus/boat tours in other cities we've been to.

Response from the operator: Dear Steven, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the audio guide and the waiting times. We take your feedback very seriously and will share it with our team to improve these aspects. We also appreciate your kind words about our staff, and we hope to be able to offer you a much more satisfying experience in the future. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Paris tour

A great way to see Paris landmarks on a double decker bus. Comfortable wh an app to help with commentary

Response from the operator: Dear Peter, Thank you for your feedback! We’re delighted you enjoyed the comfort of the double-decker bus and found the app helpful for the commentary. We hope to welcome you back for more sightseeing in Paris! Kind Regards,

Terrible tour.

This tour has no narration. You have to use your own cell phone to hear about the sights. Most importantly, this is not a coach bus. The bus was extremely hot!

Response from the operator: Dear Yvonne, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. While the tour does use a self-guided audio system via smartphone, we understand that this may not suit everyone’s preferences and will take your comments into consideration as we look to improve. We’re especially concerned to hear about the discomfort on the bus, this is not the standard we aim to provide, and we’ll be investigating the issue with our transport partner. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Best regards,

This is completely self-guided; don’t expect someone to give you a tour

Do not expect a guide to give you a tour while you’re riding on the bus (double-decker w/open top). When we arrive to the meeting point, we were told that we needed to download an app, which would give us a tour while the bus drove around. So, if you do this, make sure you have headphones or AirPods for everyone in your group, because it’s noisy on the bus and you can’t just play the “tour” off your phone. I sat on the bottom level with my kids to avoid the sun exposure, but the views were not very good and we smelled gasoline exhaust fumes the whole time (almost two hours). The boat part of the tour is even more “self-guided.” They just give you tickets for a boat ride and send off my yourself to find the boat. And there is no tour guide or phone app to guide you while on the boat. Just set your expectations low for this activity. The gentleman who met us at the meeting point was very kind and helpful with downloading the app, etc., but once we got on the way, he had no role whatsoever.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate you taking the time to share these insights — they’re very helpful to us and future guests. This particular tour is designed as a self-guided experience using the audio app, but we understand how that may come as a surprise if you're expecting a live guide throughout. Your comments about the need for headphones, the noise level, and the challenges of the lower deck are all valid and will help us improve how we communicate what the experience entails in advance. We’re glad to hear that the team member at the meeting point was kind and helpful — we’ll be sure to pass that along. That said, we’re looking into ways to make the overall experience smoother, especially for families and first-time visitors. Thank you again for your honest review — it helps us improve and better set expectations for all our guests. Best regards,

The river tour boat was...

The river tour boat was great, fun. The bus tour is unnecesary and the bus was dirty. The tour guide only guided us to the bus and that’s it!! Not helpful at all.

Response from the operator: Dear Susan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the river tour boat experience! We’re sorry to learn that the bus tour did not meet your expectations and that you found the bus condition and guidance lacking. Your comments are important to us, and we will pass them along to our operations team to ensure improvements are made. We’re always working to enhance our tours and appreciate your input as it helps us do better. If you’d like to share more details or discuss your experience further, feel free to reach out to us directly. Best regards,

Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise cost?

+

Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 221 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise?

+

Around 77 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Paris City Tour by Coach with Sightseeing Seine River Cruise start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
