Wonderful tour
We knew we could only spend 1 day in Paris and so we decided to book a tour. I'm glad we did. Originally, we booked the tour with lunch in the Eiffle tower, but the were not able to do that on our date (maybe because of the preparations for the Olympics?). Even Evans company was wonderful and very responsive while the tour change was made. Although it was a quick tour, I didn't ever feel super rushed. We were able to see most of the "big" highlights while there, even though the city was getting ready for the Olympics. There was one negative: our tour guide was not there when we got off the train. We waited an hour for him to arrive. It seems that there was a communication snafu between him and the tour company. That was quite frustrating and we felt stranded for a while. However, once he arrived, we found him to be incredible and he made our day enjoyable. We learned so much more with him than we would have if we had gone on our own. We were really glad we did this tour!!
Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that, despite the initial hiccup with the tour guide’s arrival, you had a positive and enjoyable time in Paris. We’re sorry for the delay you experienced and the frustration it caused. It’s reassuring to know that once our guide arrived, he provided valuable insights and made your day special. We appreciate your understanding and patience, especially during such a busy time with the city preparing for the Olympics. We’re also glad that our team was responsive and able to accommodate the change in plans. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’re grateful for your kind words about the tour. Thank you for choosing Evan Evans for your Paris adventure. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on another tour in the future! Best regards, The Evan Evans Team

Tour was cancelled 2 weeks before trip.
I was traveling to London with my husband while he was on a work trip. I had looked around at many different companies and reviews and had chosen this one. I was excited to head to Paris for the day with a group as I would be traveling alone. I was surprised to find out that the tour was cancelled due to low booking. I am nervous as I have another trip scheduled with them in a different country and I am hopeful that trip does not get cancelled as well. I appreciate that they notified me 2 weeks prior to the scheduled trip. This gave me enough time to find other things to do on that day since the Paris trip was an all day activity. Their customer service was appropriate and appreciated for the timing. Be aware that especially during off season travel, tours can easily be cancelled.
Response from the operator: Hello TrailBlazer286726, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience. At Evan Evans Tours we pride ourselves on offering the best possible service and experience to all our guests. It sounds like on this occasion, unfortunately, we were unable to operate our service for which we are extremely sorry. For some tours on certain dates we have not received the booking numbers necessary to run a tour. Please accept our apologies again. Best wishes, Evan Evans Team

Paris in a day
This is a medium to fast paced tour but you get to see all the main attractions. If you want to go to museums or shop the high end stores I would suggest that you book a hotel in advance to stay the night. The river cruise with lunch was delicious and had beautiful views. We were given about 2 and a half hours of leisure time in Montmartre to visit the Basilica and get snacks and souvenirs. Angela was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us on the train and throughout Paris. She was friendly and provided recommendations on shops and restaurants during our free time. During the coach ride(which was clean and comfy) Angela provided the history of the city and fun facts. Very knowledgeable and all around 5 stars!!!
Response from the operator: Hello T2652RAkristenj, Thank you for your lovely review, we appreciate you being a customer and helping to spread the word about us. We will pass on your kind words to Angela. We hope to see you again soon! Best wishes Evan Evans

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $389 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paris by Rail with Sightseeing Bus and River Seine Lunch Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
