Living our Best Life !
This was our second attempt at taking up this Charter, first time we postponed due to weather and so glad we did! The weather was superb, Michael our Skipper was an expert sailor and he and my husband who has also sailed for many years, had many sailing characters from the past to share stories about. My husband took the helm most of the time, the yacht was clean, well presented, the seafood platter excellent (we now know where to get the best prawns), Michael was happy to head to any location in Pittwater and I had a fab swim at The Basin. Time went far too quickly and we could have sailed on through to sunset. Highly recommend and thank you !

Unwind under sail on Pittwater
Our trip to the Northern Beaches was all about relaxing and taking a cruise with Taylor Made Escapes definitely rounded off our holiday perfectly. On the day of our booking the weather was pretty awful so owner Michael was on the phone multiple times, proactively watching the weather and ultimately changing our booking for the following day. The flexibility meant that we got out on the water on a beautiful sunny day. From the communication to Michael’s patience and assistance helping me to board (I have mobility issues from an injury), Michael was a fantastic host and skipper. My partner was able to get hands on with steering and a bit of rope work. We only had a couple of hours to enjoy the scenery of Pittwater while having a great chat with Michael along the way, but loved every minute of it and look forward to returning in the future for a longer experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this wonderful review, we at Taylor Made Escapes are committed to providing the best experience for our Guests. The weather was a bit ordinary on the booked date, our guests had some flexibility so we were very happy to accommodate this, sliding the booking to the following morning. A lovely sail on Pittwater ensued with great conversation and fantastic weather. Tracey, I'm so happy this sail rounded off a relaxing stay on the Northern Beaches, thank you for booking with us, please come back and see us again soon :)

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach take?
+
Plan for about 19 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 19-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 19-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Overnight Private Yacht Stay at Palm Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
