What you get

    About this experience

Coast Warriors is Sydney’s chilled out small group tour operator own and run by Aussie locals. We target the fitter 14 to 70ish years of age travellers though older is fine if you can bushwalk and like what you see advertised :) This tour offers one of Sydney's highest reviewed experiences for those seeking a relaxed Blue Mountains option. Our tours are run by fun local Aussies with the aim of being less of a tour and more of a feeling of a small group of mates on a day trip. We have now been running this adventure for many years so you can put trust that we will take you to only the best and less touristy places within the Blue Mountains. Waterfalls, amazing lookouts, Glenbrook cafe stop (locals cafe), the Three Sisters at Katoomba, occasionally a kangaroo and often birds. This is a full day in the Blue Mountains generally away from all the tourists and other mainstream tour bus locations. Aussie snacks like Tim Tams & Vegemite are on offer too.

    What you'll see and do

    1. Glenbrook

Morning stop in the lower Blue Mountains town of Glenbrook. A beautiful little town with a few Aussie cafes, toilets and shops. We have a short stop here for coffees and toilets on our way to the upper Blue Mountains where we spend majority of our day

      30 minutes here

    2. Wentworth Falls

This is the location that we do our 90+ minute waterfall nature walk and usually have lunch afterwards. The guide will be checking the weather and decide the best place to have lunch. The hike has a harder section however you can choose to skip this part. Lunch is included and you can check the pictures.

      150 minutes here

    3. The Three Sisters

This is the most touristic location that we attend and we do try to attend at less busy times. We spend a shorter amount of time here as we are more of a nature experience. At this location you have free time to grab some photos of the Three Sisters rock formations. There is also a café, bar, souvenir shops and a local gem shop.

40 minutes here · Admission included

    4. Blue Mountains

We see numerous Blue Mountains lookouts and viewpoints. We will keep this description broad as we do vary the itinerary for the most optimum lookouts taking into account weather, visibility and staying away from crowds at peak times. Check our photos and reviews. We will take you to the best spots ! Small group, small bus so we go to better locations too! **We have removed Scenic World as an option as it is too busy/lines.**No zoos **No ferry boat **No Hotel pickups and drops. As we Maximise our time in nature in the Blue Mountains which is what our guests want. Please book elsewhere if desired.

A really cool lookout overlooking Megalong Valley. This lookout has no fences which makes it really unique.

Beautiful day hiking in the mountains

This was a wonderful hike in the Blue Mountains. Chris, our guide, was knowledgeable and helpful. At least a moderate level of fitness is required.

Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $87 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 10.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 735 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch?

    +

Around 257 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 10.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Blue Mountains Small Group Tour with Waterfall Walk & Fresh Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
