Great excursion to do as part of a honeymoon!

We did the Ouzoud waterfall day trip with Trips Desert Marrakech in December 2025 as part of our honeymoon trip. Reda was recommended to us by a friend who had previously done a tour with him, and our own experience with Reda was fantastic. Overall, he managed all transportation logistics for this excursion - from meeting spot in the morning from our Riad to driving us to a first excursion spot then to Ouzoud and showing us other locations along the way. Prices were reasonable, and Reda worked with us to ensure a good price in combination with other excursions we had booked so it made sense for all involved. He also gave us options for private and group excursions during our planning. Since we went during the rainy season in Morocco, we could not do the full waterfall trail and attractions (parts of the trail were flooded or unsafe to walk through). However, instead of turning back to head home, Reda made sure we were able to still do the tour and get the most out of our time there through an additional guide. We walked up and down the main paved side of the waterfall walkway (since the natural hikeable walkway was closed due to weather conditions), got pictures and video taken at the bridge at the base of the falls and then had a lovely tajin lunch with a great view of the falls. The effort put in to make this excursion happen for us despite weather conditions was greatly appreciated, and we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything cause of the rain. Reda himself was incredibly kind, helpful and very communicative before, during and after our time in Morocco. We highly recommend him and Desert Trips Marrakech if you want to make sure you have the best time!

Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip cost?

+

Prices start at $13 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip take?

+

Plan for about 10.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 10.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ouzoud Waterfalls One Day Trip start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
