    About this experience

Step through the doors of some of Fell’s Point’s most haunted pubs for a fascinating haunted pub crawl tour of this historic maritime neighborhood. Taverns in Fells Point have always been the rowdy stomping grounds of locals and visitors alike looking for a good time and a drink, and today it’s no different. Join the crowd and belly up to the bar like times past. Each haunted pub tour is unique with our tour guides providing their favorite haunted tales from our book, Baltimore's Harbor Haunts: True Ghost Stories, combined with their own personal ghostly experiences over the years. All of our tour guides have worked for us for at least five years, with the most seasoned guides having over 20 years of experience with us, and 20 years of ghostly tales to regale the group. The Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour is for ages 21 and older only, and is a public group tour. You will visit 3-4 haunted pubs during the tour with a tour length of 2-2.5 hours, depending on the tour guide.

    What you'll see and do

    1. Fell's Point

We have 10 tour guides, and each of them presents a unique tour with stories taken from our book, Baltimore's Harbor Haunts: True Ghost Stories (Schiffer Publishing, 2005), combined with their own personal ghostly experiences on the tour. We can't provide an accurate exact itinerary because every guide visits different pubs, and we do not want people to be upset if they do not go to a pub listed on an itinerary. This is the same case as The Original Fells Point Ghost Walk (to which Viator also sells tickets). Please note that we do not include an itinerary for that tour on Viator either. Each tour is different, depending on the guide. We do visit 3-4 pubs on each tour, which may or may not consist of: Max's Tavern, Duda's Tavern, Bertha's, The Horse You Came in On, The Waterfront Tavern, One Eyed Mike's, Abbey Burger Bistro, Cat's Eye Pub, The Wharf Rat Tavern (currently not open due to renovations), or Rye Cocktail Bar.

    Entertaining tour

This was a nice tour of Fells Point with stops at several bars/pubs to drink beer. The stories were interesting and the storyteller was really good. This is a good activity for anyone, visitors and locals. We have lived in the area for over 20 years, so we found this interesting, especially learning about some of the history. It's an easy walk and stays within Fells Point, so you are not walking forever.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to submit a review! We hope to see you again.

Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Baltimore.

How much does Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours cost?

    +

Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Baltimore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Baltimore is not rushed.

Is Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Baltimore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Baltimore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Baltimore and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Original Fells Point Haunted Pub Tour by Baltimore Ghost Tours start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Baltimore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Baltimore?

    +

Baltimore leans on the Inner Harbor: Fort McHenry visits, harbour cruises, Edgar Allan Poe and ghost walks, crab-focused food tours and a strong museum lineup within walking distance. On Outty we rank every Baltimore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Baltimore Walking Foodie Tour in Fells Point, Fells Point Food Tour in Baltimore, Glow in the Dark Splatter Paint Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Baltimore?

    +

April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Baltimore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
