Day trip to Terracotta warriors with Tina
Our guide Tina was very helpful and has great knowledge about the Terracotta warriors and its history. She was very good at explaining everything.

Well worth the trip and another item off the bucket list.
The facility where the Warriors are found is now a large complex with buildings built over the puts where they were originally found. It’s a short walk from the main entry through manicured gardens and shady trees, you can take a small 10 seat golf cart if required. Building one is there the Warriors are located in the main pit, be warned there are a lot of people there do use your elbows to get a good spot to text photos, best spot is directly inside the grind door. There is a time limit for that area I was told but it seemed that wasn’t enforced. You are directed around the pit to one side to take more photos then out the rear door. Room 3 is next either more displays and finally room two with much of the same. At the exit there is a short walk to a long market for good snd gifts etc. It’s a 1 day trip only to Xian and nothing else to see really. If you are on an organised tour you can expect the mandatory stop at a jade factory and the replica worrier factory. In all another good visit.

Fascinating historical day trip
Tina was a great and knowledgeable tour guide. She arrived early which is always a good start. The transport was clean and for a change did not reek of cigarette smoke which was a pleasant change. It was very comfortable with plenty of space. We fist went to see the Terra-cotta army with Tina giving us a detailed history as to how and why they came about and the genesis of early Chinese culture. It helped to put everything into context. When we arrived she helped to take the quickest route through the queues and gave a lot of information to the history and discovery of the site. We went through the 3 pits and the museum and it felt like I had whole new appreciation for the scale of undertaking. On the way back to Muslim street again Tina demonstrated her knowledge around some of the sites on the way and gave a great overview of the Silk Road and to the beginnings of the Muslim quarter. We left it to Tina to take us to the food stalls and we sampled everything she suggested. We never felt uncomfortable if we spotted anything we wanted to try she didn’t put us off unless there was a better option a little further along. All in all I felt that we got excellent value for money and would definitely book it again next time I am in town for the rest of the family

Incredible experience.
I recently toured the Terracotta Army with our guide Rosa, and it was an incredible experience. Rosa was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire tour. Her deep understanding of the history and significance of the Terracotta Army made the visit truly enriching. She was also very attentive to our needs and ensured everyone had a great time. I highly recommend visiting the Terracotta Army with Rosa as your guide. She definitely deserves a five-star review!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Xian.
How much does One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares cost?
+
Prices start at $498 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Xian usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Xian is not rushed.
Is One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Xian, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Xian can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Xian and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One Day Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour from Beijing Including Round Trip Airfares start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Xian within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Xian?
+
On Outty we rank every Xian experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Xi'an Day Tour: Terracotta Army&Optional City Attractions, All-Inclusive Terracotta Army Tour with Premium Buffet Lunch, 2-Day Customized Warriors Tours & Xian Top Attractions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Xian?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Xian?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
