Fantastic Tour with an Excellent Guide!
We had a wonderful day exploring Xi’an with our tour guide, Jiajia. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and well-prepared. Her explanations were clear and engaging, and she clearly knew the city and its history inside and out. She also chose a fantastic restaurant for lunch, and the food was delicious. What impressed us most was how well she engaged our children—they thoroughly enjoyed the tour and stayed interested throughout the entire day! Jiajia truly made our experience special, and we would highly recommend her and this tour to anyone visiting Xi’an. A fantastic guide and a memorable experience!

Great Terracotta Warrior tour roll we by Camel Bells Theater.
We had a great, but long day exploring the new and old side of Xi’An under the expert guidance of Annie our tour guide. Good things is we had the flexibility to adapt as needed. Nice car and good driver made it a pleasant experience too.

We had a great time. We...
We had a great time. We went to Xi’an to see the terracota warriors on Dec 18, 2025 and we had a great time. Judy (our tour guide) and the driver picked us up at our hotel lobby exactly on the agreed time. Judy was friendly and very knowledgeable, patient and very gentle-mannered. The driver safely drove us to our destination despite the congested Xi’an traffic. We did the tour to our preference. Judy recommended a nice place for lunch close to the Muslim quarters. After lunch, we asked Judy to just walk us to the Bell and Drum tower then Muslim quarters. After that, we were aleeady tired so we asked to be dropped to our hotel. Everything was convenient and easy. Thanks Judy for making our Terracota warriors trip convenient.
Response from the operator: Dear John, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you had a great time in Xi'an and enjoyed your visit to the Terracotta Warriors. It’s wonderful to know that Judy and our driver provided a comfortable, knowledgeable, and flexible experience for you. We truly appreciate your kind words about their professionalism and service. We look forward to welcoming you back on another memorable tour in the future! Warm regards, China Xian Tour

Lovely experience
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Noble, was very friendly, careful, helpful and knowledgeable. He told us a lot of interesting things about the history of China. His way of telling stories was really appealing. His spoken English was really good, we understood each and every word he said. It was a real pleasure to have him as our guide. He showed us every interesting spot for pictures. His suggestion about the place to have lunch was really good, the food was really tasty. We followed his suggestions about customizing our tour and it was perfect. If I'd had to book this tour again, I would do it without question.
Response from the operator: Dear Iulian, Thank you for sharing your lovely experience with Noble on the Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Day Tour! We are delighted to hear how much you appreciated his friendly and knowledgeable guidance, storytelling skills, clear English, and thoughtful recommendations for photos and lunch. It’s wonderful to know the customized itinerary made your day perfect. We truly appreciate your trust and look forward to welcoming you back for more memorable tours in the future! Warm regards, China Xian Tour

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Xian.
How much does Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Xian usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Xian is not rushed.
Is Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Xian, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Xian can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Xian and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Flexible Xian Terracotta Warriors Private Day Tour Non-shopping start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Xian within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Xian?
+
On Outty we rank every Xian experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Xi'an Day Tour: Terracotta Army&Optional City Attractions, All-Inclusive Terracotta Army Tour with Premium Buffet Lunch, 2-Day Customized Warriors Tours & Xian Top Attractions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Xian?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Xian?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
