2. Pura Puseh Desa Batuan

   Pura Puseh Batuan are shrine owned by Villagers batuan-village-home-of-balinese-paintings" Batuan Village district of Sukawati - Gianyar regency. The Temple is part of the concept of "Tri Kahyangan or Tri Murti" taught by Mpu Kuturan around the 10th century to the Balinese Hindu community at the time. Tri Kahyangan including 3 temples, the Pura Desa or Village Temple as a place to worship God Brahma, Pura Puseh to worship God Vishnu, and the Pura Dalem to worship Lord Shiva.Pura Desa and Pura Puseh Batuan were founded in the year 944 isaka (1020 AD). Nearly 1000 years old. Not all existing buildings were old buildings here, there are some that have undergone renovation. The Meru, Bale-bale, grand Gates and statues are showing us how thick the Balinese ornaments in this temple. At temple parking area, we could see a stage which a place use as a meeting hall and to practice any kind of Balinese dances as Gambuh dance, Pendet dance, etc.

3. Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

   Monkey Forest Ubud holds a significant history intertwined with Balinese culture. Dating back to the 14th century, it has been regarded as a sacred place, housing spiritual forces and guardian spirits. The monkeys, seen as sacred animals, symbolize both protection and mischief, fostering a unique connection between humans and wildlife. In the 20th century, Monkey Forest Ubud gained recognition as a vital conservation area. Efforts were made to preserve its natural beauty, promote responsible tourism, and raise awareness about the cultural and environmental significance. 4. Ubud Palace

   Puri Saren Agung is the place where Ubud's long tradition of home stays all began, more than 80 years ago, when Bali first started to attract bohemian artists from around the world. Renting one of five traditional stone bungalows in the sumptuous royal courtyard is still quite an experience, and every night the palace comes alive with the sound of Gamelan music as Balinese dances are performed just across the wall from Puri Saren Agung.

5. Tegalalang Rice Terrace

   Tegalalang Rice Terrace comprises a series of cascading rice fields. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the area is especially popular during sunrise and sunset. Take your time to explore the terraces, visit the nearby Bali Pulina plantation, and have a go on the mountain-edge swings. To see the fields at their greenest, visit in March, August or September. They're also green in December and February but are slippery due to the rainy season. The rice terrace is commonly visited on a tour of Ubud which includes other places of interest like the Monkey Forest, Tegenugan Waterfall, and Tirta Empul Temple.

6. Tirta Empul Temple

   One of the busiest water temples in Indonesia, Tirta Empul is a temple considered sacred by Balinese Hindu community. The temple has several holy springs which are said to have been created by The God Indra and believed to be blessed water that could purify those who bathe there. Tirta Empul is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu God of water. In the Balinese language, Tirta Empul loosely translated means water gushing from the earth, which for this reason Tirta Empul is regarded as a holy spring. The Tirta Empul Temple includes shrines to Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, as well as one for Indra and Mount Batur. It is considered one of the five most holy temples in all of Bali and is considered one of the holiest water sources in Bali.
