So many fish
Go into this knowing that the snorkeling will be great but you may not see what you are expecting. Equipment was good, using wet suit is a good idea, maybe bring a go pro with you. Our guide, David, was terrific and our experience was great.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you had a great snorkeling experience and that David made your trip memorable. We appreciate your insights regarding the snorkeling expectations and equipment. It's wonderful to know that the equipment met your needs and that you found the wetsuit beneficial. Bringing a GoPro is indeed a fantastic idea to capture the underwater moments! David will be thrilled to hear your kind words. We're glad he contributed to making your experience terrific. If there's anything more we can assist you with or if you're planning another adventure, please feel free to reach out. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting trip!

Amazing Experience Snorkeling with Mobula Rays!
My wife and I had a 5-star experience with Cabo Private Guide last weekend. We wanted to see the Mobula Ray migration during our visit to Cabo San Lucas. Chloe was very helpful in directing us to the right tour - the Mobula Rays had not made it down to Cabo San Lucas yet, but were in La Ventana. Chloe helped us arrange a private snorkeling tour in La Ventana with transportation provided to and from our resort in Cabo San Lucas. The actual snorkeling experience was amazing. Our guide Ophelia was very knowledgeable, super thoughtful, and very fun! We were able to swim with hundreds - perhaps thousands - of Mobula Rays while also seeing many dolphins, sea lions, some beautiful coral reefs, and even a hammerhead shark! Ophelia took some amazing pictures and videos on the GoPro for us too! We would highly recommend working with Cabo Private Guide and would like to thank both Chloe and Ophelia for helping us check off a bucket list item snorkeling with the Mobula Rays!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your wife had a 5-star experience with Cabo Private Guide. Chloe and Ophelia will be delighted to know that they played a part in making your snorkeling tour unforgettable. We're glad Chloe could arrange the perfect tour for you in La Ventana, and it's wonderful to hear that Ophelia's expertise and enthusiasm added so much to your adventure. Swimming with Mobula Rays, dolphins, sea lions, coral reefs, and even a hammerhead shark sounds like a dream come true! We appreciate your recommendation and are grateful that you chose us to help you check off such an exciting bucket list item. We hope to have the pleasure of guiding you on another amazing adventure in the future.

A one of a kind spectacle!
This was one of the greatest experience I ever had when it comes to seeing marine animals. We saw thousands of rays, under the surface as well as jumping out of the ocean. The spectacle was really amazing. In addition, we were lucky enough to be followed by a pod of hundreds of dolphins for almost 2 hours. I highly recommend this boat tour as you can see a one of a kind spectacle. And the tour guide, Ophélie, was really nice and told us a lot about those marine animals.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to review the mobula tour! We are very lucky to have this unique wildlife encounter here in Los Cabos!

Over 200 dolphins!
What a trip of a lifetime! The tour went smoothly and we snorkelled with Mobulas. They were incredible to see both on the boat and underwater. For lunch we docked at Isla Ceralvo which was a wonderful experience. On our way back to La Ventana, we encountered a herd of dolphins that swam with us for over an hour - it was a spectacle. Ophelia, our Cabo Private Guide, was attentive, friendly and really informative! If you are vacationing in Cabo and want a unique experience, a Cabo Private Guide tour should definitely be in your itinerary!
Response from the operator: Dear Yola, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Happy to hear you were extra lucky to live this beautiful encounters. We are glad to know that our guides & staff will always make the best for our clients to have a great experience! Hope to see you again and share more adventures !

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.
How much does Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.
Is Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ocean Safari Snorkel Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?
+
On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Cabos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
