Our Albanian 5 day tour
Our five-day tour of Albania was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary was well organised and gave us the opportunity to experience the country's beautiful landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. However be prepared to do quite a bit of driving over these 5 days. A special thank you goes to our guide, Anest, who was incredibly patient, respectful, and knowledgeable throughout the trip. He made us feel comfortable, answered all our questions, and ensured that every part of the journey ran smoothly. His professionalism and warm personality truly enhanced our experience. The accommodations, transportation, and overall organisation were excellent, we especially appreciated the chance to experience authentic Albanian cuisine. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to discover the beauty of Albania. It was a wonderful experience, made even more memorable by our outstanding guide, Anest.

Best week ever!
You will not regret booking a tour with Albania Inbound. We had a 7 days all around Albania tour and it was exceptional! Our guide JEFFREY HOXHA was the best guide you could ever ask for. Extremely funny, friendly, caring, punctual, and informative. We had great conversations and lots of laughs with him. Henri took care of every detail and catered to all our needs. Albania Inbound gave us the best week ever 10/10 😊👌🏻

Great Tour of Albania in Five Days
This was a five-day, very comprehensive van tour of Albania, and showed us a wide range of cities, towns, landscapes, and coastlines. We also toured the Butrint Archeological Park which was very impressive. Overall, it was a great experience and introduction to a country we had never been to before. There were only five of us total in our group, plus our guide, making for a small group experience. Our guide was enthusiastic and wanted us to experience Albania as a local. The Albanian people we met along the way were very friendly and welcoming, and nearly all spoke at least some English. The hotels ranged from basic (but acceptable) to quite expansive. The hotel in Saranda was very nice and near new but could be closer to the Promenade, but hotel management drove us to and picked us up. Note that we paid on our own for most admission fees. Also note that there were some long days, arriving at our hotels fairly late in the day. Our guide took us to some very nice restaurants where we sampled Albanian fare.

5 stars for Albania Inbound
Our overall experience was really good. I booked directly and with a slight sense of trepidation- but based on my experiences with Henri and the online reviews, there was nothing to be worried about. They are a very professional outfit! Our guide was Noli. He was very friendly and had an excellent sense of humour. The driving (EVERYONE on the road) was, for us Australians, eye opening to say the least. We did mention it and from then on we had a more sedate pace. The hotels were all great- especially The Lot in Tirana. I had originally thought we'd hire a car. Don't do it yourself, unless you're from, say , Naples and used to no road rules, cell phone use non stop, lots of honking and pushing in, let someone who is used to it do it! The pace was pretty full on but we say pretty much everything we wanted to in 5 days on the tour plus a full day in Tirana. The history of the place is eyeopening.

A perfect way to discover Albania
I have just completed the 5-day tour and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The itinerary was beautifully designed, giving us a real feel for the country. A special mention to our guide, Genand, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made every stop more meaningful with his explanations. I would absolutely recommend the 5-day tour without hesitation!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tirana.
How much does North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1041 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tirana is not rushed.
Is North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does North & South Albania: A 5 Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tirana?
+
On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, Kruja castle, the old Bazaar & Sarisalltik- Departure from Tirana. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tirana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tirana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
