The trip to Berat was amazing! It’s a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and lots of interesting things to see. Our guide, Fjona, was fantastic, very friendly, helpful, and made the tour really enjoyable. Highly recommended!

    Great tour

Nice tour, the guide was very helpful and spoke in a very pleasant and sing song tone. The weather was too hot but we liked this tour of berat. One small tip, the tour could include more description of the berat old town when we arrive in the spot.

Not my cup of tea but good value nonetheless

Good value, the guide (Klajdi) was friendly and talked to everyone, bus ride was smooth, (it's a bus not a van so enough legs room), we were around 40 people doing the trip. The first stop was not necessary it was just a lake with a village around so 30min there is a bit too much. Berat castle was underwhelming, and the city of Berat is pretty empty, there is nothing much to do besides somes churches/mosques and lot of restaurants. In august the river was low, maybe it's better to go in spring or autumn to see the level of the river higher. Even if I didn't have a blast in the city it's still a good value and I learned a bit about Albania in the bus, and Berat while visiting the castle.

    Worth it

Perfect. Our guide Marilena (sorry if there is a mistake) was welcoming, invested and ready to answer any question that we might have had - she even took some time to take a bunch of cliches for those who wanted to 🙋‍♂️ 🙋‍♀️ The driver was reliable as well. ••• Be aware of the fact that you can choose to visit the Castle Museum or not ; if you do, the cost of it was [on August 28] 300 ALL (cash only, it's easier for the tour guide and the group if you have the correct amount prepared). We chose to explore the surroundings and had ½h of free time, which has been punctuated by a conversation with a locally born and raised chess player. ••• In Berrat, we have had some time to explore the city itself and understand why it's classified by UNESCO. Just like my title says: worth it. ••• Thank you both, and to all the people behind this organization. ••• Nicolas and Léana 🇲🇫

How much does Berat UNESCO Heritage and Belshi Lake Tour - From Tirana/ Durres cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Berat UNESCO Heritage and Belshi Lake Tour - From Tirana/ Durres take?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 1,566 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tirana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tirana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
