    Great Day trip!

Really cool place to visit. What I really liked about this market was that it wasn't packed. You could actually move freely - except when you were in the DATES section as the cash registers were not the best situated - but they were fast. The merchandise is better than other markets - not as commercial. The vendors were really kind and helpful. The animal market was fun to watch! The pottery was amazing!! The Fort was really interesting...lots of steps - wear good shoes. It's been well preserved and the people are very proud of it.

Response from the operator: Dear Sharon D, Warm greetings from Discover Mazoon Tours Oman, Thank you very much for sharing your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the authentic atmosphere of Nizwa Market and appreciated the quality of the merchandise, friendly vendors, and the unique experience of the animal market. It’s great to know that the pottery and overall organization of the market stood out to you. We’re also pleased that you found Nizwa Fort interesting and well preserved. Your practical tip about wearing good shoes is certainly valuable for future visitors. Thank you once again for choosing this experience and for taking the time to share your impressions. We hope to welcome you again on another journey through Oman. Kind Regards Discover Mazoon Tours Oman info@discovermazoontours.com info@discoveromantours.com +968 93960660

Highly recommend this amazing day tour!

What a wonderful day! Fahad arrived at our Airbnb promptly and drove us in air conditioned comfort to the various stops on the tour. Nizwa souq, fort and castle - so interesting and full of history. Fahad knew even more than the information provided at the sites. He didn't rush us when we may have spent more time at the souq than allocated lol. Lunch was at a roadside Yemeni restaurant - delicious. Then on to Jebel Shams, Al Hamra and Misfat Al Abriyeen. Fahad knows so much about Oman's culture and history, and was happy to share it all with us. The stops were fascinating and Fahad took a lot of photos for us and with us. It was an incredible day. Special thanks to Fahad and his team.
