This area also has a notable connection to art, as a world-famous artist once lived along the market and painted the landscapes of Nice from his own apartment.

4. Old Town

   Nice’s picturesque Old Town, with its restaurants, boutiques, and galleries, reveals a denser, more intimate side of the city. As we wander through this historic neighbourhood, you’ll gain insight into its captivating past, explore the area’s Baroque architecture with its distinctive features, and encounter the story of a notorious “heist of the century” connected to these streets.

5. Place Rossetti

   The most animated square in Nice’s Old Town, framed by cafés, gelato shops, and the Baroque gem Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate. While spending time on the square, you’ll be told the legend of how the cathedral is connected to the Bay of Angels, learn about the area’s hidden underground passages, and sense how this small square continues to bring together the joyful rhythm of city life.

6. Colline du Chateau

   Rising above the Old Town, Castle Hill offers a quieter, more open perspective on Nice, where the city, the sea, and the surrounding hills meet.
