A whole day of peaceful adventure up the Alps
It was a breathtaking tour going up the mountains via train. The view was a feast for the eyes as villages we visited are so calm and peaceful. Our tour guide Cyril was commendable because of his extensive knowledge of history, culture, food which he delivered well with wit and humor. We met a lot of cats everywhere. Be prepared to walk uphill to the village of Saorge. Make sure you wear comfortable trainers or shoes for hiking. Bring a light jacket because it can get chilly up the mountains and don't forget to bring water.
