More than expected and a great experience

We had a fantastic voyage with Paul (Driver) and his very nice Land Rover Defender. He showed us very nice places and we were a group of 5. At the end we got some wine tasting and several snacks to share in the sundowner. The tour was well prepared and we had a beautiful time with Pauls colleagues and the other people of the group. Well put together. We will definitely book another of these 4x4 City Guide trips (Karsta & Markus in June 2026)

Response from the operator: Karsta & Markus, thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was a real pleasure having the five of you with us !

    Perfect evening in Nice

This tour was absolutely amazing! The combination of a sunset experience and wine tasting in a historic Land Rover made it truly unique and memorable. The ride from Nice was smooth and enjoyable, and we were taken to a beautiful spot with breathtaking views — the perfect setting to relax and take in the scenery. The atmosphere was great, the wine was excellent, and everything felt very well organized. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and local charm. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Nice — it’s a fantastic way to spend an evening!

Response from the operator: Watching the sunset from one of our favourite viewpoints, sharing local wines, and getting there in a vintage Land Rover is exactly the experience we love creating for our guests !

    Highlight of our Trip!

Had an absolutely brilliant evening. Touring around the beautiful local area in a classic Land Rover was a great experience, and the views from the hill while enjoying a lovely selection of wines were unreal. The sunset picnic was a real highlight too – the homemade focaccia and tomato confit were absolutely incredible. Antoine and Paul looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. They were friendly, good fun, and had us laughing the whole time, which made the experience even better. Couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a relaxed, memorable evening with great food, wine, and even better company.

Response from the operator: Reading your comments brought a big smile to our faces. 😊

The best excursion! I'm going to visit it at least 10 more times!

We went on this tour last year, and we went again this summer. It’s the most incredible excursion you can take in Nice. The guides are very welcoming and friendly. Every time I go on this tour, we have a blast. I highly recommend it to all tourists, as you’ll get an incredible dose of friendly interaction and a wonderful evening. I’ll be taking this tour many more times!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Response from the operator: It was a real pleasure welcoming you back, and we’re delighted you had just as much fun the second time around.

How much does Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover ! cost?

    +

How long does Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover ! take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.

Is Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover ! worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover !?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover ! suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover !?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nice: Sunset & Homemade Apéritif in a historic Land Rover ! start and how do I get there?

What are the best things to do in Nice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
