NGARE NDARE DAY TRIP

We finally did the much anticipated day trip to Ngare Ndare. The trail to the blue natural water falls was an easier one. Quite manageable. The Ngare Ndare staff provided us with a tour guide who really helped us navigate the trails and waited for us as we swam. Their charges were affordable. The experience of swimming in the blue waters felt good capped off with the canopy walk. If you have a day to spare of your busy schedule you can trade it with this day trip to Ngare Ndare.

Waterfall hike!

Our drivers were great! We loved getting to a lesser known spot. The hike to the falls was guided with a guard that was so knowledgeable about all the plants and animals around. The pool at the waterfall was cold, but so refreshing to jump in!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for giving us a chance to be of service to you. We are very happy that you had a great time and expectations met. Looking forward to being of service to you again in the near future. Cheers to many more adventures!

Ngare Ndare day trip

This was an incredible experience from start to finish. The drive was scenic, hiking to the Blue Pools was beautiful, and a swim under the waterfall was the perfect way to end the day. Everything was well organised and communication was excellent throughout. Highly recommend Adventure 360!

Response from the operator: Dear David, thank you so much for taking your time to review your Ngare nadare day trip. Glad you enjoyed the day and expectations met. See you on the next one soon!

Gorgeous! Definitely go if able!

This is an incredible spot to see if you have the time. It felt like a very cool and unique experience to have in Kenya. The hike is easy and swimming in the pools is paradise. They were beautiful as advertised. They got a little cloudy as more people swam, but still blue and lovely. The canopy walk was a bit more thrilling than expected and cool. It was fun to make a stop at the equator (be prepared for aggressive shopkeepers here - fun if you like to barter). Charity took great care of us. She and our driver were kind, helped us with water and were great to talk to and travel with. Just be warned, this is a lot of time in the car (about 10 hours round trip from the Garden City Mall area), so make sure you have the time and endurance for that part of it.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking your time to write the review, much appreciated. We look forward to helping you friends & family experience best of Kenya again in the very near future.

Ngare Ndare Day Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does Ngare Ndare Day Trip cost?

+

Prices start at $155 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ngare Ndare Day Trip take?

+

Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is Ngare Ndare Day Trip worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ngare Ndare Day Trip?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ngare Ndare Day Trip suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 24-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Ngare Ndare Day Trip?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ngare Ndare Day Trip start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
