Delta Homestay experience
An amazing Homestay experience on the delta lead by Denis our amazing guide , such fun from a sunrise cycle through the rice fields , rice planting and fishing at the Family tiny garden Homestay. Denis truely wanted us to have the best authentic experience and he was so much fun to be around. Would highly recommend this delta experience away from all the crowds. Kenny at the Family tiny homestay was very kind and the food was really good.

The best trip ever!!!!
Best trip ever!! My husband and I went on a private tour for 2 days 1 night - Chu Chi Tunnels and meekong delta staying at the Family Tiny Garden Homestay. Dennis was our guide and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable and such a likeable person. The trip was Full of activities, Shooting AK47s and Carbine rifles, kayaking up river, morning cycle to see the sun rise, rise planting, catching cat fish, visiting a candy factory and honey bee farm, all with plenty of FOOD!! I would highly recommend this trip with Vietnam to Travel, and if you are lucky you will get Dennis. He made our trip even more enjoyable

Excellent adventure!
Went for a full two days of exploring the Cu Chi tunnels, the Mekong Delta and starting at a home stay in the country. There we ate terrific meals, did karaoke, woke up for a sunrise bike ride in the rice fields , kayaking, leaning about rice cultivation and fishing. Both guides Chow and Milo were terrific. Our 3 teens felt it was the most fun and exciting part of our trip.

Amazing tour
This was an amazing 2 day 1 night trip. Our guide, Chow, was friendly, fun, well organised, helpful and informative. The tour was exactly as described and every activity met or exceeded our expectations. Eating breakfast and having coffee in non - tourist places was a great and interesting experience. I thoroughly recommend this tour if you want something slightly less touristy and are happy cycling and kayaking. Chow is a true professiona and so were the other guides who helped on the tour. Fully deserved 5 stars.

A full on day with numerous highlights
We were met by Son at our hotel and got away a little late due to heavy traffic. Son has a real enthusiasm about him and was keen to share his knowledge with the ten guests today. We packed a huge amount into the, with food preparation and pancake making forming part of an excellent lunch. Boat / canoe rides ion the Mekong followed and the day finished with a visit to a Buddhist temple. Overall a good day, with lots of engaging and interesting people.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the reviews, it's good to know that you're fully enjoy our trip. Wish you have a wonderful time in Vietnam!

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay cost?
+
Prices start at $51 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does NEW Trip 2-Day: Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Homestay start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
