Best Tour So Far on our Cruise! Sid was AMAZING!!
We told Sid what we wanted to see and she knew exactly where to go and took us there, it was amazing! Also, her extreme knowledge of the culture and history was spectacular! She even sand us a lullaby popular with the indigenous people. She was also just so down to earth and easy to talk to. She also tried to catch a salmon with her bare hands which was entertaining and fun! We will be recommending this tour to everyone we know! Thank you all for an amazing time exploring Ketchikan! And the food recommendation she gave us was amazing!!
Response from the operator: Wow! Thank you for wonderful review and we surely pass on to the salmon catcher:). Again, thank you and we hope you had an amazing Alaskan Experience!!!

Native Tours led us to a bear sighting
Our driver and tour guide, Sid, was wonderful. She had a custom trip all lined up for us to see wild life. After our first two stops where we did not see much, she took us to Lunch Creek Trail at Settlers Cove. There was took a short but beautiful hike through the rainforest to the beach. Saw a waterfall and salmon. On our way back to the van we saw a bear eating a salmon. Sid was was super accommodating and very knowledgeable about the local culture. We had a wonderful time.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the positive review and recognition of our guides hard work!

Great opportunity for a private, guided tour of Ketchikan!
For our port stop in Ketchikan, we decided to book a private tour for our multi-generational party of 6. Since some members were elderly, we thought a guided sight-seeing trip would be good for all. We were met right at the dock by our driver, Kevin, who also turned out to be the owner of the tour company. That day, Ketchikan lived up to its reputation as the rainiest city in the US, so we were very thankful to be in a warm, dry van! Kevin was born and raised in Ketchikan, so he was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. Being Tlingit, he was also so informative about the indigenous culture and people. He took us from one end of the highway to the other (Ketchikan is only accessible by boat or plane), so we got to see the entire area. We had a quick stop at one of the many waterfalls, and got to visit Totem Bight Park, where we were about the only ones there! Kevin explained the meaning of the totems and shared some of the stories. The nice thing about a private tour is that you can see whatever you want to see. Unfortunately because of the rain, it was not a day to be out and about, so we mainly saw the sights from the van, but I am so glad we got to get outside the port area and learn so much about the history and culture!
Response from the operator: Gunalcheesh! I believe you meant Isaac but I'll take the great recognition. I am so thankful that we made a positive impact on your vacation! We work hard to make it a good experience for our guest.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
*New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ketchikan.
How much does *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers) cost?
+
Prices start at $1200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ketchikan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers) take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ketchikan is not rushed.
Is *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ketchikan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers)?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ketchikan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ketchikan and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does *New* Exclusive Premier Ketchikan Tour(Up to 6 Passengers) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ketchikan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ketchikan?
+
Ketchikan runs short, cruise-timed excursions: Misty Fjords floatplane flights, Tongass rainforest zip lines, totem park tours, crab feasts and wildlife boats up the Behm Canal. On Outty we rank every Ketchikan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ketchikan Kayak Eco-Tour, Off the Beaten Path Ketchikan Photo Safari - 3 hr., Ketchikan Shore Excursion: Rainforest Canopy Ropes and Zipline Adventure Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ketchikan?
+
May to September, matching the Alaska cruise season. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ketchikan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
