Settlers Cove State Recreational Site
The tour begins with a scenic van ride to the north end of the island, where we arrive at the Lunch Creek Falls Trailhead. From there, we set out on an easy walk through lush, temperate rainforest, surrounded by towering evergreens and the soothing sounds of nature. Along the way, we’ll stop to take in the beauty of Lunch Creek Falls, a cascading waterfall that flows beneath a stunning wooden bridge—perfect for capturing breathtaking photos. As we continue our journey, we hike along Lunch Falls Trail for an incredible 1-mile loop through the rainforest then descend to the beach, where you'll have time to explore the cove, soak in the coastal views, and search for marine wildlife. Keep your eyes on the water—this is a prime spot for whale watching and observing other incredible sea life in their natural habitat.

This is a MUST!
This is an awesome excursion!! This was my second time this season taking this tour. The temperate rainforest is incredible! It's a beautiful walk, everything is lush and green. It's definitely the freshest air I've ever breathed. Jordan is a great guide. He's very knowledgeable and informative, and he is the owner/operator. He is extremely accommodating! The rainforest is absolutely gorgeous, pictures just don't do it justice. You have to come see and breathe it for yourself! Thanks again, Jordan

Beautifully mid level hard tour
Jordan was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, entertaining and everything you look for in a guide. Only thing we would want to notate would be that all of the descriptions about it stated it was ‘an easy hike’. Yes, there were stairs…but there were well over 200 stairs and very steep stairs. Two of us had prior injuries and the trail was a bit hard due to it. Just feel the description should mention the stairs more. But Jordan was simply great and patient.

What a fantastic time!
