This attraction can be found in Obosomase, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The Waterfall is also known as Obosomase waterfalls which runs on stratified rocks into a clear pool. The falls flows through a forest which used to be a home for the indigenous Ghanaian people 400 years ago. The waterfall is in two parts; the lower falls and the upper falls. Wonderful experience
This is a wonderful tour that connects you to nature. The botanical garden was amazing; I know … but the trees and plants were spectacular. We also did the waterfall, what a serene place to clear your mind and the drive to both the waterfall and gardens were so nice and really different from busy Accra city center. And the cocoa farm was so insightful and quite the learning experience. A great tour all around and our guide Gian was wonderful - he even gave a great recommendation for lunch. Highly recommend and if you get Gian you’re in for a treat.
Response from the operator: Hello Audrey, Thank you very much for your review. It is very much appreciated. We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Ghana.

Nice tour
The botanical garden and the cocoa farm were both very interesting and a good time. The waterfall required a steep walk down a long unpaved path to get there. And a very slippery rock path to get close to it, which I fell on and got some scratches and bruises. I was ok but too tired and wary to see the second waterfall there. The guide was good. The AC was not working in the car I was traveling in so it was hot.
Response from the operator: Hello, thank you very much for your review. It is very much appreciated.

Visit Nature Outside of Accra
Driver and guide arrived early with an air conditioned vehicle. The botanical gardens were fabulous, we learned a lot at the first chocolate farm in Ghana and the waterfall was nice but we found the hike to be almost too strenuous given the hot weather and steady incline. We left around 10:30 and returned at 5pm. This tour is good value and a nice way to see some sights in the hills just outside of Accra. Guides at each location were knowledgeable and happy to answer all of your questions.
Response from the operator: Hi Victoria, We are glad we were able to meet your expectations. Thank you for this review

It was worth it
It was a good experience. I thought I would have seen more herbs and spices. The waterfalls were breathtaking once you get there. Vistors need to know that the trek to get there is longer than expected and then you have 90 stairs to get to big waterfall.
Response from the operator: Hi Adina, thank you for the feedback, we are glad you had a good experience

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nature Thrills: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Accra.
How much does Nature Thrills cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Accra usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nature Thrills take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Accra is not rushed.
Is Nature Thrills worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Accra, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nature Thrills?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Nature Thrills suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Nature Thrills?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Accra can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Accra and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nature Thrills start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Accra within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Accra?
+
On Outty we rank every Accra experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Experience the Beauty, History and the Culture Of Accra in a Day, Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle & Kakum National Park Day Tour, Accra Guided City Tour: Cultural and Historical Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Accra?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Accra?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Nature Thrills?
+
Included: Fuel Charge and Taxes; Hotel pick-up and drop-off within Accra; Local Transportation; Entrance fees to attractions; and Guide Support. Not included: International airfare; Sightseeing not listed in the itinerary; and Meals. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Nature Thrills include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 113 listed pickup locations in and around Accra. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time.
What languages is Nature Thrills offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Nature Thrills?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Nature Thrills wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
