What stood out most was how much our young kids enjoyed the experience. It wasn’t just a tour; it felt like an educational adventure for the whole family. Everything was well-organized, safe, and enjoyable, making it easy to relax and fully take in the beauty of the safari. We’re already looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended for families and anyone wanting a meaningful and enjoyable wildlife experience!

Beyond Expectations: A Perfect Safari Journey
Everything about the experience was truly exceptional. The hotel arrangements were flawless, and the staff—especially Patrick and the reception team—were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their level of client care is outstanding and truly sets them apart. Our driver, who also served as our guide, made the experience unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate—answering all our questions as if he were ChatGPT, with impressive detail and clarity. His ability to spot wildlife was remarkable—he even identified a lion perched in a tree over 200 meters away with the naked eye, something I could only see through binoculars. He never rushed us and went above and beyond to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible, including zebras, impalas, elands, rhinos, Nile crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, ostriches, and a wide variety of bird species. It was an incredible experience from start to finish, and I’m already looking forward to returning—this time with my family.
Response from the operator: Wow—thank you for such a beautifully detailed and heartfelt review! Reading your experience truly made our day. We’re thrilled that every aspect of your journey felt seamless and exceptional, from the hotel arrangements to the warm hospitality you received from Patrick and our reception team. Creating that welcoming, attentive atmosphere is something we care deeply about, so your kind words mean the world to us. Your safari story is simply incredible. Having a guide who not only shares deep knowledge but also genuine passion makes all the difference—and spotting a lion perched in a tree from over 200 meters away is the kind of rare, magical moment that stays with you forever! We’re so glad he made you feel relaxed, never rushed, and fully immersed in every sighting. It sounds like you experienced the very best of the wild—from majestic giraffes and powerful rhinos to playful hippos and the rich birdlife—and we couldn’t be happier that it left such a strong impression. Thank you for trusting us with your adventure. The fact that you’re already planning to return, this time with your family, is the greatest compliment we could receive. We’ll be ready to make your next visit even more unforgettable. Until then, we’ll be here—waiting to welcome you back for another extraordinary journey. Warmest regards,

I had a great experience — everything was very well organized and the tour itself was excellent. The staff were extremely kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about the fauna, which made the experience even more enriching. One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the website to make information clearer and more user-friendly. Overall, a very good safari tour and highly recommended.

Creating a seamless, well-organized adventure is something we care deeply about, and knowing that our team’s kindness, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the fauna enriched your journey means the world to us. Sharing the wonders of the wild with passionate travelers like you is exactly why we do what we do. We’re also genuinely grateful for your valuable suggestion about improving our website. Clear, user-friendly information is essential in helping our guests feel confident and excited even before they arrive, and your feedback gives us helpful direction as we continue refining the experience from start to finish. Thank you again for your high recommendation. We would be honored to welcome you back for another unforgettable adventure in the wild!

Nairobi National Park
It was one of the best experience! Managed to see 3 out of 5 of the Big 5. However, I wish the tour guide had told us that we should have left earlier as the park shut at 6PM, which made us end the trip slightly earlier, when we could have seen more animals. But overall, it was an amazing experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you had one of your best experiences with Tallic Tours and that you managed to see 3 of the Big 5 — that’s always such an exciting highlight! We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the park’s 6PM closing time. You’re absolutely right — starting a bit earlier can make a big difference in maximizing wildlife sightings. Your comment helps us improve, and we’ll make sure our guides communicate park timings more clearly so future guests can enjoy every possible moment. We’re so glad that overall it was an amazing experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon — maybe next time to complete the full Big 5!

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nairobi National Park Safari (Half-Day) – Lions & Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
