No Show

I booked this tour with All Time Safaris for Sept 9th at 10:00am. No one showed to pick me up at the hotel in Nairobi as agreed upon and confirmed. I then called All Time Safari's customer service and they did not answer, "The person you have called is not reachable". I sent a message via TripAdvisor and I'm still waiting for a response. I was really looking forward to this trip and I had very little recreational time during my stay in Nairobi. Now in the process of trying to get a refund.

Response from the operator: Hello Christian Thanks for taking your valuable time for give us feedback on your recently concluded tour of the Coffee farm. We hope you had an awesome afternoon experience at the farm despite communication hiccup - due to sudden incapacitation of the person in charge of your file on the said date. We always endeavor and go out of our way to make sure you not only participate in our tours but also have an awesome service and experience with us. We are hopeful that we can still show you the best on your future visits. Thanks so much

First time at a coffee farm

Having never been on a coffee farm I enjoyed seeing and learning about the process. It would have been better if I had booked the tour during harvest season so as to see the actual process rather than simply someone describing it. Also, the tour started late and ended early. The gardens where we sat and waited initially and then later had a cup of coffee were very beautiful and well tended.

Response from the operator: Thank you, most appreciated.

Amazing tour.

Warm welcome by the staffs. We arrive early and had a photo session at garden. Perfect for weddings and private functions. Our tour guide was a lady by the name Irene. Ooh she was wonderful! She was keen and answered to all curiosity. The coffee tasting was brilliant, I love to do that once again. And this is the place you need to find out why cows 🐮 🐄 🐄, yes cows need mattresses to sleep on. The tour took about two-to-three hours. An afternoon well spent.

Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm cost?

+

Prices start at $91 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nairobi day tour to the Coffee farm start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
