    Nairobi City Tour

We saw things we could not have seen on our own. We appreciated the gulde's knowledge and flexibility. As this was a private tour, it was tailored to our needs - KICC and the Nairobi Gallery. The Nairobi Gallery is a little gem!

Response from the operator: Hi Gloria, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us and we’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed yourselves. Our guide will be happy to learn your appreciation of his expertise. We agree — the Nairobi Gallery truly is a little gem! We really appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience. Warm Regards Roselyne

I love Nairobi and the Beautiful People!

This tour was perfect for me! The rooftop view of the city from the KICC. The International museum and snake park had so much history and knowledge to learn. Paul is an exceptional tour guide and really knows his way around driving and walking! I will be recommending him to all my friends traveling to Nairobi!

Response from the operator: Hi Jenetta, Thank you for the wonderful feedback. We're glad that you enjoyed your Nairobi tour with Paul. Looking forward to being of service again in future to you or your friends and we'll definitely prioritize Paul as your guide. Warm Regards Roselyne

There's more than markets in Nairobi

We had an enjoyable day out with our guide, Paul. He took us to the key sites in Nairobi and tailored the itinerary to fit our interests. We appreciated visiting the Catholic Cathedral, Karen Blixen Museum and the Kazuri Bead factory. We would recommend Paul and this tour.

Response from the operator: Hello Susan, Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I'm glad that your enjoyed your City Tour with Paul. We look forward to being of service again on your next visit. Warm Regards, Roselyne

    Nairobi City Tour

Too expensive. Have to pay entrance as well to the 3 places we visited. Driver/ guide was quite good

Response from the operator: Hello Carmen, Thank you very much for your feedback. The reason why we do not include the entrance fees in this tour is because for some guests may not always want to visit some of the sights and others will book this tour having visited some of the sites at a previous time and would prefer not to visit again. We therefore exclude the entrance fees so guests have an option of where they would like to visit during the tour. Thank you once again for booking this tour with us and we look forward to being of service again in future. Warm Regards Roselyne

    Great Nairobi Tour

Julius was an awesome guide. Prior to the tour, he spoke with us to find out our areas of interests so that he could give us the best experience possible. He was very knowledgeable of the city’s main landmarks and attractions, and was very strategic around the tour stops to account for high traffic times. I would recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for a wonderful review. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to creating wonderful experiences for you in future. Warm Regards Roselyne.

Nairobi City Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does Nairobi City Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Nairobi City Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is Nairobi City Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nairobi City Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Nairobi City Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Nairobi City Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nairobi City Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Nairobi City Tour?

    +

Included: Private transportation; Hotel pick up and drop off; and Driver Guide. Not included: Entrance fees- National Museum and KICC Helipad; Lunch; and Bottled water. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Nairobi City Tour include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 559 listed pickup locations in and around Nairobi. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Nairobi City Tour offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Nairobi City Tour?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Nairobi City Tour wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Nairobi City Tour if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.

What do travelers say about Nairobi City Tour?

    +

Across 6 reviews averaging 4.5 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, knowledge and storytelling. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
