Day in Nairobi well spent
A day (few hours really) in Nairobi well spent. It felt like I was seeing a lot for just a few hours but it also didn’t feel packed or overwhelming. The tour guide did a great job of managing us and taking the pictures

Great way to spend a few hours in Nairobi
We are a family of five. We had a free day in Nairobi (before flying out in the evening), and would recommend this experience. We went to the Elephant Orphanage - it was fun to see the baby elephants and really interesting to hear about the amazing rescue work. Then to the Giraffe Centre for an opportunity to feed giraffes. Also an (optional) visit to the bead factory to see the process of making clay beads. Our guide Kelvin was excellent and very knowledgeable in answering our questions. This is a great way to spend a few hours in Nairobi.

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
