    Short treck

We had a wonderful, short and not verry intense hike with nice views and an intresting walk over a suspension bridge. In the end there was a nice temple to visit. Our friendly and competent guide was Shankar.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the hike, the beautiful views, and the suspension bridge walk. Shankar will be very pleased to know you appreciated his guidance and company during the tour. We hope to welcome you again in Nepal soon. Warm regards, Breakfree Adventures Team

    Inspiring experience

The trip to Nagarkot was an incredibly inspiring experience. Our guide Razz introduced us to the country’s culture and the philosophy of Buddhism in an engaging way and a well balanced amount of information - without being overwhelming. Because we had already visited Bharatpur a day before, Razz suggested an alternative route so we got a chance to see and try a suspension bridge instead. The visability at Nagarkot was not the best at sunset time that day, we were told it could be better at sunrise. But of course it depends on the weather, not the tour operator.

Response from the operator: Dear Sabina, Thank you very much for your lovely review. We’re happy to hear you had an inspiring experience in Nagarkot and that Razz’s guidance and flexibility made your trip even more special. We truly appreciate your understanding regarding the weather conditions at Nagarkot. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you again on another adventure in Nepal. Response from the operator: Dear Albatros, Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the relaxed pace of the tour and had a great experience with both your guide and driver. Bhaktapur & Nargakot Sunset

We had Subash as our guide, with Ravi driving. Pre-trip communication was good, they arrived on time (which was great as the traffic in Kathmandu that morning has been horrific so we were expecting them to be late). The guided tour of Bhaktapur was excellent, really informative and done very much at our pace. They gave a good recommendation for a late lunch. Nargakot was nice but I think it’s probably better to do the sunrise tour as the visibility at sunset wasn’t the best in April. Very good tour, especially the Bhaktapur section, I’d recommend

Response from the operator: Dear Grant, Thank you for your kind review! We’re glad to hear you had a great tour with Subash and Ravi and enjoyed the informative Bhaktapur visit. It’s great that they kept everything on schedule despite the traffic and provided helpful recommendations. Thank you for the tip about the sunrise tour in Nagarkot. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back soon on another great adventure with us! Best regards, Breakfree Adventures Nepal. +977 9851014557 (WhatsApp)

Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views cost?

    +

Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nagarkot Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Panoramic Mountain Views start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
