Waterfalls from the Air!!!
Dominic was a great guide and pilot. He made sure we saw Vista Point, the waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge and Beacon Rock. I'd never been on a small plane before and really enjoyed it!
Response from the operator: Thanks for the 5-stars! It’s awesome to hear that Dominic flew such a great trip—getting you up close to Vista House, the Multnomah Falls, and Beacon Rock is definitely the best way to do it. Knocking out your very first small plane ride and coming away loving it is a huge win! We're so glad you had a blast, and we hope to fly with you again soon!

Columbia River Gorge 2025
Highly recommend Envi and pilot JP. We kicked off 2025 with a beautiful flight up the Columbia River Gorge. JP is an excellent pilot. We appreciated his engaging explanation of what we were seeing. The size of the plane was perfect for this adventure.
Response from the operator: Thank you for being one of our first groups of the new year! It's always great reading positive reviews like yours about flying with us on our scenic flights, and we hope you can join us again in the future! Thanks so much!

What a unique and beautiful way to see the waterfalls!
We had an unbelievable adventure! We weren't sure what to expect, especially with a 7-year-old who is a little afraid to try new things, but John (our pilot) was incredible! He made everyone feel at ease and did a wonderful job showing us all the waterfalls (and even sea lions) on our journey. Highly recommend if you want a non-traditional way to see a beautiful section of the PNW.
Response from the operator: Sounds like it was an excellent scenic flight! So happy to read this review and hear about your amazing experience! Thanks very much for sharing with us how it went and hope to see you again soon!

Nice smooth ride!
KJ was friendly, helpful and an excellent pilot! A little windy but smooth. Would fly again on next trip to Portland. ****
Response from the operator: We hope to fly with you again when you come back to visit Portland! Thanks so much for joining us on a Multnomah Falls air tour, and for this excellent feedback!

Wonderful flight and views of the river.
The entire flight was a complete joy. Both the pilot KJ and the plane were first class and the views of river and waterfalls were spectacular. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for flying with us! So glad you enjoyed your flight!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Portland.
How much does Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures cost?
+
Prices start at $219 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Portland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures take?
+
Plan for about 0.7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Portland is not rushed.
Is Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Portland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Portland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Portland and add a light layer if any part of the 0.7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Multnomah Falls Waterfall Air Tour by Envi Adventures start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Portland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Portland?
+
Portland's activity list is food cart and brewery crawls, Columbia River Gorge waterfall tours to Multnomah Falls, Mount Hood day trips and Willamette Valley pinot tastings. Gorge tours vary in how many falls they reach, so route detail is the deciding factor. On Outty we rank every Portland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour from Portland, Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge Half-Day Hiking Tour, Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood Tour - Full Day. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Portland?
+
June to October for the Gorge, with waterfalls at their fullest in spring. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Portland?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
