You will not regret going with Places Nepal!

I recently finished the Manaslu circuit trek with Places Nepal and I honestly cannot recommend them enough! They organised absolutely everything from transport, accommodation, to food. They answered every single question we had before the trek started to make sure we were completely prepared. Mangal and Sujan were our guides and they looked after us so well throughout the 12days. They made sure we had enough blankets to be warm at night, that we were always full from our food, checked our blood oxygen saturation to check our adaptation to the altitude, ensured we did enough acclimatisation hikes whilst also having enough rest, and importantly treated us as part of their team and family (we even celebrated my partner’s birthday at 3,500m with cake). You will not regret going with Places Nepal, in fact you’ll have the best time that you’ll want to come back to do another trek with them! 😄

Manaslu Circuit with Places Nepal - An unforgettable adventure with heart and professionalism

My girlfriend and I did the 12-day Manaslu Circuit this March and I honestly can’t recommend Places Nepal enough. Right from the start, the communication via WhatsApp was super easy and they answered every little question we had. It was really nice that they let us ship our gear via DHL to their office weeks before we arrived, they handled everything for us, which was a huge relief! The group size was perfect (only five of us in total), and the atmosphere was very personal. Our guides, Sujan and Mangal, were just legends. Not only did they know every detail about safety and altitude, but they were also great fun to hang out with. Even though we couldn't do the Manaslu Base Camp hike because the weather wasn't playing along, they quickly adapted the plan and found other great spots for us to acclimatize. Because of that, the whole group made it over the Larkya La Pass (Day 8) without any altitude sickness, even though it was quite a tough climb! Another highlight was waking up on Day 5 to that incredible sunrise over Mt. Manaslu. Goosebumps! The food in all the teahouses was actually really good and what we really loved was having the freedom to choose whatever we wanted from the menu. We also really liked the teahouses they picked for us. They were super cozy and had a great vibe. It wasn't just about the hiking, we honestly had such a good time just hanging out in the villages and relaxing in the lodges after a long day on the trail. Everything from the permits to the transports from Kathmandu to the starting point and in the end to Pokhara was handled professionally. It felt less like a business transaction and more like trekking with friends who really know what they’re doing. If you're looking for a local agency that truly understands Western travelers, go with these guys. We’ll definitely be back for another trek in the future!

Manaslu circuit

Manaslu Circuit Trek with Places Nepal team was an amazing experience. Nam, Kishore, and Laxman were exceptional hosts. Their meticulous planning from the time of booking until the end of the trek went above and beyond what I expected from a professional agency. I never had to ask for anything; they were always there, smiling and taking care of every need. Nam is an excellent guide, a captivating storyteller, and a masterful card player, his card tricks are too good. Whenever I struggled during the climb, he or someone from the team stayed by my side, even when I told them to go ahead. Honestly, I wouldn’t have completed the trek without them. I highly recommend them for any adventure in Nepal. Nam also captures splendid pictures and videos during the trek. Nam also remembered my birthday from my passport and wished me which was a touching moment for me. Highly recommended!!

BEST 10 DAYS EVER!!!

The 10 day trek of the Manaslu circuit with Places Nepal was hands down one of the best experiences of my life!!! From start to end Places was incredibly communicative and responsive and went above and beyond helping my friends and I with logistics like airport pickup, recommendations for where to buy gear, etc. The trek itself was absolutely beautiful and so smoothly run. Our guides Sujan and Mangal were incredibly knowledgeable about the area. They both made us feel SO safe and added so much laughter and fun to our group dynamic. Their itinerary also acclimatized us so well ahead of Larke Pass that our whole group completed it with ease. I would recommend this trek and this company 100 times over and am already itching to come back!

Our Himalayan adventure

From day one when we landed on the airport to deparute date - we felt cared for and appreciated. I couldn’t imagine a trek could look like that. Beautiful views, cozy places to sleep even in totally harsh environment, very good food and a lot to choose from (although dal bhat power 24h). Kapil and Tsiring - our guide and porter- were an amazing team. We could rely on them we could always ask for help or explanation (cultural and religious wise as well). Prices very reasonable. The company took care of all the permits and local payments. During the 15 days we felt as if Himalayas were sooo in reach. Every white peak every “hill without a name” (well there is no need to call any 5/6.000 m if there are 8.000 around right?). The trek was pure magic. Best memories? Waking up to snow peaks and beautiful landscapes. Crossing waterfalls and small rivers. Gazing at the stars in the evening and night. One has to experience it to understand it. Totally recommend.

Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $1200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek take?

+

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 288-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Multiday Manaslu Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
