Island peak summit 2024

Naba and his team are an experienced and very well connected trekking company and I would recommend Himalyan Planet for your next trip to Nepal. I have known Naba for 12 years and in the unpredictable environment of Nepal you need an outfit who knows what they are doing and can adapt quickly. Our 2 mountain guides had 19 Everest summits between them Island peak was an experience I will never forget Matt Landy

Gokyo Trekking

We had a wonderful time in Nepal. Himalayan Planet and our guide Hari were top organised from the airport pickup to the return flight. Our adventure started with Hari and our porter via the airport Ramechhap (flights from Kathmandu are cancelled increasingly). Hari was always worried about our well-being and tour changes and wishes were accepted without discussion. The selected teahouses were quite good according to the local standard. The food served in the teahouses was always very good (we only had veggie food 😇). Himalayan Planet surprised us with a direct helicopter flight from Lukla to Kathmandu after we had arrived in Lukla two days earlier than planned. We heard later that this was the last flight for two days out of Lukla due to the misty weather. We can highly recommend Hari as a tour guide. He is funny, knows the Everest area very well and is extremely adaptable and kind. We thank Himalayan Planet for the great organisation and would like to recommend them warmly. Julia and Miri

A family Trip of a lifetime!

We thank Himalayan Planet Adventures for making our Familys holiday to Nepal a Successful and enjoyable holiday of a lifetime, from sightseeing in Kathmandu to the eventual climax at Everest Base Camp, everything was handled with attention to detail. Our Guide Madan was quite an experienced trekker even though he was in his late Twenties, with over 30 treks to E.B.C. he was always on hand to provide assistance during our trek and was like an extra family member by the end of the journey. As well as the Sherpas who are Friendly and seem to have boundless energy they helped our family to reach our goal after 10 days of trekking and climatization. We highly recommend Nabaraj and his company for anyone who wishes to visit Nepal for any type of trekking activity.

Response from the operator: Namaste from Himalayan Planet Adventures. Thank you so much for having our company operate your trek sir. We are very happy to have served you in making your drams and holidays an enjoyable and remarkable one. We hope to see you soon in Nepal for further trip in the Himalayas. Please so remember us for future visits in the land of himalayas. We look forward to see you soon.

Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days cost?

+

Prices start at $1900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days take?

+

Plan for about 384 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 384-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 384-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - 16 Days start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
