Wonderful castle

The tour guide was late. We had a van that was too small for the passengers. I was very cramped and keep bumping into him. I could not hear our tour guide speak, he had a soft voice and he had a hard time speaking english. He was friendly and tried to answer my questions.

Great day at beautiful SMS.

Absolutely great experience with Vivien as our driver, taking us safely from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel. He's a great driver, safe and courteous. Highly recommended.

Had a magical day at the abbey. It’s a long day but absolutely worth it. Recommend including the guided tour, the tablets are super modern and show you illustrations of rooms and items through the years. Transfer out was smooth, small group van, everyone was quiet and considerate. We stopped for coffee and baked goods on half way there and half way back.

Response from the operator: Hello Britney, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that your day at Mont Saint-Michel was such a magical one and that you found the journey well worth it. It is wonderful to know that the transportation was comfortable, the stops along the way were appreciated, and that the guided visit enhanced your discovery of this extraordinary site. We are especially pleased that you enjoyed the modern tablets, which help bring the history of the abbey to life in a unique and engaging way. We would love to welcome you back for another memorable excursion. You might enjoy exploring the Loire Valley Châteaux or discovering the historic D-Day beaches of Normandy, both offering fascinating insights into France's rich heritage. Kind regards, Alice de France Tourisme.

Stunning location.

Beautiful. Stunning. History. Lots and lots of stairs so not for the weak. Definitely worth the money and effort.

Response from the operator: Hello Michael, What a wonderful summary of your experience! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beauty, history, and unique atmosphere of this remarkable site. Places rich in heritage often require a bit of effort to explore fully, but we are pleased to know that you felt the experience was well worth it. Creating memorable discoveries and helping our guests connect with France’s extraordinary history is what motivates us every day, so your feedback is greatly appreciated. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure, perhaps to the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel or the stunning Châteaux de la Loire, both offering unforgettable views and fascinating stories. Kind regards, Alice de France Tourisme.

Normandy day surprise

We were cancelled and no advance notification. With prompting, I quickly arranged to be out on another Normandy tour which was well run. Was told not enough people was a tour guide in training was scheduled. The secondary vendor blamed Viator.. either way lack of communication in a difficult environment is difficult. I managed to get the mini van to turn around and come pick us up to save the day as we book a full day tour. Sad but I felt price of fuel was the deciding factor. We did enjoy cathedrals

Response from the operator: Dear Patricia, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced due to the cancellation and the lack of advance notification. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been, especially when you had planned a full-day experience. Clear communication and reliable organization are essential, and we regret that this was not handled in the way it should have been. We are however glad to hear that you were able to join another Normandy tour and still enjoy parts of your day, particularly the cathedrals, which are indeed remarkable sites full of history and beauty. Your comments regarding communication and coordination have been taken seriously and will be reviewed with our operational partners to help prevent similar situations in the future. We also understand your frustration in such circumstances and sincerely regret the impact this had on your experience. Should you wish to discuss your case further, you may contact us at **[info@francetourisme.fr](mailto:info@francetourisme.fr)**, and our team will be happy to assist you. We hope that despite this disruption, you were still able to enjoy meaningful moments in Normandy, and we would be pleased to welcome you again in the future for a smoother experience, perhaps on our Mont Saint-Michel excursion or a guided tour of the Loire Valley Castles. Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket cost?

+

Prices start at $172 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket take?

+

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 77 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket?

+

Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Tour from Paris with Abbey Ticket start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
