A Perfect Day!
This was an excellent day. Will was fun and engaging. We felt perfectly safe and comfortable with Will driving. This is important since it was a long drive. He also navigated us through very long lines and a lot of people on a very busy day. I appreciated the opportunity to go through the abbey on our own and to have some free time to explore. I would highly recommend this tour.

Tour of Mont St. Michele w/a cider tasting!
We had an amazing time on our trip seeing Mont St. Michele. Long trip from Paris but worth seeing. Our tour guide was excellent. He gave us lots of background history then we had iPads with earphones to hear everything as we went through the castle. The site is very popular so be prepared for lots of tourists. And wait times at the restaurants for lunch. Also it was very windy with the potential to have rained but thankfully did not. Just be prepared! On the way back the cider tasting was fun! We would recommend this trip if you don’t have time to overnight closer.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Mont Saint-Michel and that your guide made the history come alive for you. We also appreciate your helpful notes about the crowds, weather, and timing, this is great advice for future travelers to help them prepare. <3 We’re glad you enjoyed the cider tasting on the way back as well, and thank you for recommending the tour :) Kind regards, - Alice

Mont St. Michel with Blue Fox Tours
In late April/early May, my husband and I traveled to France and booked 4 tours directly through Blue Fox Travel. This review is about our day to Mont St. Michel with Nicholas. The meeting point is easy to navigate to. From our hotel, we could walk or catch an UBER. The cafe is open to use the restroom or buy a pastry/coffee. This was our longest day outside of Paris as it does take about 3 hours to drive there and return. There are stops for the bathroom and to buy a snack/drink. Once you arrive, Nicholas guided us to the abbey and there is a complimentary shuttle that you can take as it is a long walk. He even provided a baggie if you wanted to take some sand home with you! He stayed with us telling us interesting facts and history as we worked our way up to the top. Do know there are lots of steps and the paths can be narrow and made of cobblestones. Once you reach the top, you are then given time on your own to make your way back down to shop, eat etc. Once we met up again, we stopped at a local stand and enjoyed their local apple cider & then Nicholas made an extra spot where you could photograph all the sheep grazing with the abbey in the background! Blue Fox tours only runs this tour on Thursdays. There were still lots of people there so give yourself ample time to eat etc. There are lots of places to eat with a wide variety of food, sodas etc. We had delicious hot paninis and then enjoyed some gelato! Our drive back included a break stop as well. The van is comfortable with clean windows! Once again, it is a small group tour so make sure you are on time so you can enjoy the full day!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted you enjoyed your day at Mont Saint-Michel with Nicolas and appreciated the itinerary, comfort, and small-group experience. We’re especially happy you enjoyed the cider tasting and the extra photo stop with the sheep and abbey view. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon! - Alice

Day Trip from Paris
We had an amazing day tour to Mont-Saint-Michel with Augustus as our guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and culture of the region. Throughout the trip he shared so many interesting stories and little details that made the experience even more special. The tour was very well organized, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish. Augustus made everyone feel welcome and took great care of the group. Visiting Mont Saint Michel was already unforgettable, but having such a wonderful guide made it truly exceptional. Highly recommend this tour and especially Augustus if you want a memorable and enjoyable experience in France!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you had an amazing day at Mont Saint-Michel with Augustin. It’s great to know his knowledge and passion helped make the experience even more special. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation, and hope to welcome you again for another memorable tour in France soon. - Alice

Do this tour- ask for Nicolas!!
Nicholas our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, kind and great with our group. Only 6 people which makes this tour more personal. We had a magical day with him and our group. He gave us insider tips on what was must see and what to avoid. Strongly recommend. The cider tasting on the way home was super cool too. Nice relaxing final moment.

Why this scores 83
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 271 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris?
+
Around 95 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mont Saint-Michel Small-Group Trip with Cider Tasting from Paris start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
