  2. Honfleur

Arrival in Honfleur. Begin your walking tour of this charming town, known for its historic old harbor. Once the main defensive port of Normandy in the 15th century, Honfleur has since transformed into a picturesque resort town beloved by 19th-century artists. The town, first mentioned in 1027, has a rich history, changing hands during the Hundred Years' War and later becoming a hub for French corsairs who raided the English coast. In the 17th and 18th centuries, Honfleur thrived with trade from the American colonies. After the closure of the port, the town’s economy declined and it became a suburb of Le Havre. Today, it stands as one of Normandy's most popular tourist destinations. The walking tour will last about 1 hour. 11:00 AM: Departure to Mont Saint-Michel. The drive will take approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes (190 km).

  3. Mont-Saint-Michel

Your guide will lead you through the narrow streets of the medieval village up to the Abbey. Whenever possible, we join a guided tour led by an expert on Mont Saint-Michel and its history. If this isn’t feasible, we provide audio guides for the Abbey visit. Settled by man in 709, the site features a medieval village and an impressive abbey fortress dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. The construction of the Benedictine Abbey began in the 700s and continued through the 1200s, maintaining its medieval charm. It remains a pilgrimage and tourist hotspot, attracting around 4 million visitors annually. After the Abbey tour, enjoy some free time to explore Mont Saint-Michel and have lunch

Great trip!

I highly recommend this trip! My son and me had a great time and were able to see a lot just in one day trip from Paris. Our driver Ivan was superb! He was really accommodating , respectful and knowledgeable. He gave us several great tips about where to go, and where to eat in Honfleur and Mont Saint Michel and was patiently waiting for us when we couldn’t stay on the preplanned schedule))

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are very happy that you liked everything!

Great day. Dream come true!

The trip to Mont Saint Michel and Honfleur was just perfect. Valentin was such a nice guide – easy to talk to, funny, and really knew a lot. Nazar was a great driver, super calm and friendly, and the ride was very comfortable. We had a wonderful day, saw beautiful places, and enjoyed every moment. Big thanks to both of them!

Very bad exorrience with Galaxy tours.

My family had a horrible experience with Galaxy Tours. We paid a private tour in order to have a tour according to our needs. Instead, we had a driver who did not how to drive, he speed many times and did not speak English or French and the guide did NOT speak English and fell asleep in all the way in and back to SaintMichell. The guide did not explained anything in SaintMichel. Ii seems that he was tired all the time, on his phone and in a hurry all the times. Both were not professional and did not explain anything. I Don't recommend Galaxy tours al all. It was just scam.

Response from the operator: This review is misleading. The private tour was conducted in full — about 15 hours with a licensed driver and a professional English-speaking guide. The guests themselves asked to delay departure by 1.5 hours to finish breakfast, which naturally reduced the time available for sightseeing and led to late traffic jams. Despite this, we still provided all the services as booked, including Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur, with stops for restroom breaks and lunch. Unfortunately, not all family members spoke English, which limited communication with the guide. Explanations and recommendations were offered, but to our surprise, guests often preferred to explore the surroundings on their own and spend time shopping instead of following the tour program and discovering the beauty of these places. We were also surprised that after the tour ended, the same guests demanded compensation. Their claim was reviewed by Viator, who examined the evidence (messages, timeline of events, and service records) and denied the refund because the tour was performed exactly as agreed. It is unfortunate that an inaccurate review was posted after the unsuccessful attempt to get a refund. Galaxy Tour welcomes travelers from around the world every day, and our numerous 5-star reviews reflect the professionalism, safety, and care we provide. Future guests can rest assured that we honor our commitments and deliver on our promises. — The Galaxy Tour Team

Worth every penny to have...

Worth every penny to have a professional guide/driver like Ivan and an air conditioned car. A long day but thoroughly enjoyable.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear you had an enjoyable day with Ivan!

Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris cost?

+

Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris take?

+

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mont Saint-Michel and Honfleur Private Trip from Paris start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
