Wonderful Mon Cherie
We have just enjoyed a 2 night cruise on the wonderful Mon Cherie. The boat was beautiful. We chose it as it looked more old school. And it was yet still beautifully maintained. Our cabin was fantastic. Biggest bed I’ve ever seen! Waking up to the view from your balcony is spectacular. The pool area was great. Large enough to fit in a dozen people comfortably. A great place to meet and chat to the other guests. The bar area was fantastic. Lots of comfy chairs and games to play. The sunset up there is just perfect. Cocktails were fantastic and great value. Happy hour 2 for 1 was great. Around AU$17 for 2 cocktails. The thing that made the cruise was the staff. They were all lovely. The best though - Roy. He just went above and beyond to make sure you were happy and looked after. Whether it be in the restaurant or bar. And he always remembered your name. He’s a credit to the company. Other memorable staff were Elly and Sebastian. Also so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only negative … the food. We didn’t enjoy dinner. They were very accommodating with the fact I don’t eat seafood but in general the food was average. I think they try too hard to make it fancier than it needs to be. I booked our cruise through Cindy Phuong who was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend Mon Cherie and ha long bay is just spectacular

Excellent cruise and staff
This is a great cruise! The bedrooms are clean and spacious. The meals are great. The itinerary is well thought out and manages to fit lots in without feeling too rushed. The staff were fantastic, but Ducky in particular went above and beyond for us and was very professional.

Best cruise we've ever been on! Amazing staff.
This cruise was incredible. Gorgeous setting, incredible excursions, marvelous food. My wife and I loved every minute of it. The ship was impeccable, the room was luxurious and the views were extraordinary. The staff were so attentive and kind and the excursions were incredibly well organized and fascinating. Three staff members stand out. Roy, who introduced himself as our butler was impeccable. He takes great pride in his work and he was always present and yet invisible. He even wore white gloves when he was serving the incredible food in the dining room. Lucy was exceptionally good at her job choreographing the excursions to the caves and Y was so much fun on the day boat as he took us to the oyster farm and the village on Cat Ba island. He even lead the charge in jumping from the second deck into a pristine bay for a swim on day two. Relaxing, beautiful, fun adventure. Highly recommend this cruise.

Amazing, comfortable and relaxing tour!
Beautiful, relaxing and extremely comfortable tour through this magnificent landscape! The staff could not have looked after us any better - our every need was catered for. We especially appreciated the care of Ryann, our attendant, who made us feel right at home with her relaxed and easy style. The day boat to Lan Ha bay was excellent, and the five-course lunch on board an unexpected delight. The facilities on all the boats were top class. Our family can highly recommend this three-day tour - it is definitely worth it over the two-day tour
