This was where it all started. Meet the heart of the city nested in the oldest hill of Lisbon. It is the hill of fado and of the typical taverns that preserve their genius and traditional roots. From the quarters of Graça and Alfama, through Mouraria up to the São Jorge Castle, you may be lucky enough to come across a sardine barbecue on the street. We hop out in Alfama, take a walk through this music quarter and listen to its cries. You will be able to see Roman remains, medieval houses that survived the 1755 earthquake, the magnificent Lisbon Cathedral, squares livened up by outdoor cafés, nooks and alleys reminiscent of Arab cities – Lisbon’s multicultural history has also left its mark here. Incredible views of the city from the many natural windows it offers will not be left out.

Great hours with Tiago
Tiago was amazing on the tuck tuck tour of Portugal. We would 100 percent recommend this to any of our friends visiting. Tiago become one of the amazing special locals of Portugal he was generous with his insights into the city regarding the culture of the local people. He took us to some critical viewing spots over the city where we can overlook the city. What we found a gem was his encouragement to see hidden treasures of Lisbon. He allowed us to immerse ourselves within the culture rather which we appreciated. His enthusiasm for the city was contagious. And we left feeling happy and content. We will tell all our friends about Tiago. He is amazing.

Informative and fun packed afternoon
We had a fabulous tour yesterday in the very capable and knowledgeable hands of Tiago Netto. It was a packed 4 hours worth of absorbing many of the sights that Lisbon offers. From the amazing Churches to the Monument to the Discoveries. We also tasted the most delicious Pastel de Nata and not from the original pastry shop! Tiago also gave us some restaurant recommendations, one of which we followed up at lunchtime today. It was the best we have tasted In Lisbon. Thank you Tiago for a fun and informative afternoon.

Mario is not just knowledgeable, but also genuinely engaging – the kind of guide who knows how to read the group and keep things interesting without overloading you with information. We got to see the city in a way that felt both structured and spontaneous at the same time. What stood out the most was the atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a typical “tour”, more like being shown around by someone who actually cares that you enjoy the experience.
